✅Ingredients
• 2 bags (4 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1½ cups peanut butter
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
✅Instructions
1️⃣ 00:28 - Melt 1 bag chocolate chips in the microwave (15 seconds, stir, repeat until melted smooth).
2️⃣ 01:04 - Spread chocolate in bottom of a non-stick 9x9 pan. Let harden.
3️⃣ 02:09 - Use a hand mixer to mix together 1½ cups peanut butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Spread over hardened chocolate.
4️⃣ 03:20 - Melt 1 more bag of chocolate chips.
5️⃣ 03:35 - Spread on top of peanut butter layer. Let harden.

I can't believe I never tried making my own chocolate and peanut butter bars...food pantry gave me like 8 jars of peanut butter LOL

Hi! I made these the other day and used an 8x8 pan. I found my chocolate to be a little too thick to bite into with using the full bag of chocolate chips, so I think next time I will use a bigger pan. I wanted to ask, though, if your peanut butter firms up at all? I froze mine overnight to try to get it to firm up, but even when it thawed out, it was still pretty soft. It wasn't too much of a problem, but when I cut into the bars, the peanut butter all squeezed out! Haha, any tips?

I used a different recipe, a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup copy cat recipe (half of the recipe in a loaf pan). Initially my peanut butter also squished out, so I moved it from the refrigerator freezer and put it in our deep freeze, that goes to lower temperatures for a few hours, just for cutting...and it cut much better. Peanut butter is soft in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so it worked for us. Good luck.

quick question?? I know this may seem like an ODD question, but do you prefer Skippy Peanut Butter or Jiffy? I'm just wondering because I see a lot of bakers using the Skippy... LOL! Could be just me, or is peanut butter... peanut butter? Love all your recipes by the way!!! 😍😍😍 KEEP'EM COMING!

Don't bother with this recipe. Or at least don't listen to this woman. If you put the chocolate in the freezer for 5 minutes, the chocolate gets too hard and the peanut butter is way to runny. Basically you end up with just two chunks of chocolate because the peanut butter just squishes out of the middle when you cut it into squares.
