Shell Wine Tote Pattern:
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: Size 4, Medium Weight, 100% Recycled Cotton & Polyester Blend Yarn by Lion Brand Yarns Re-Up.

Attach yarn to crochet hook using Magic Circle (MC).
Row 1: CH 1 and place 11 DC inside MC.
Row 2: Working in 1st DC, place 2 DC in each st in the row (this will create a spiral pattern, so make sure you mark the 1st st of the row with the st marker) (22 total DC st).
Row 3: *1 DC in the next st, then 2 DC in the next st.* Repeat ** around the row, except the last st of the row. In the last st, rather than placing 2 DC, just place 1 DC (32 total DC st).
Row 4: *Skip the next 4 st, the place 4 DC in the gap between the 4th and 5th st.* Repeat this around the row (8 total SHELL st). At the end of the row, work in the gap between the last and 1st DC.
Rows 5 - 23: Working in the gaps between the clumps of 4 DC (or SHELL st), place 4 DC. This will continue to spiral.
Row 24: In the next gap, place 4 SC instead of 4 DC to taper off the spiral.
Place 1 SL st in the next st. CH 1, and turn the work around in the opposite direction. Skip CH 1, then placing joining SL st in the next 10 stitches of the wine tote and in any 10 stitches of the handle. Place 1 SL st in the next 6 st of the wine tote, then attach the 2nd handle using 10 joining SL st. Place 1 SL st in the last 6 st of the row, then join the row with 1 SL st in the 1st SL st.
Cut and tie off yarn.
