Palagi akong nanonood ng iyong show at I really enjoy watching kasi mahusay kang magpaliwanag step by step at madaling sundin ang iyong mga instruction. Ang anak ko na ang malimit magluto ng aming ulam mapabahay o handaan and she learned and use your way of cooking for the family. And I really enjoyed each time she made it because talagang napakasarap ng iyong recipe or way of cooking. I used to cook before and catered for parties but now that I’m 70 and mayroon ng disability, my daughter is the cook now and most of her style of cooking is from you. Thank you much Chef. Wow ang sarap . I usually when i'm pinas yon ang laging kong linuluto. Ang paksiw na bangus at moonfish ang ilinalagag kong gulay ay kankong nsa ilalim at ang mga isda nsa ibabaw lng. Iyan ang mga favorito kong linuluto.

The paksiw, pinangat at ginataan. Reminds me of my Mama. Lalo na ang paksiw ng bangus sarap nyan sa almusal lalo na pag may sinangag. Like how my Mama liked to it. Mga pagkain na lagi ko na mimiss. Dear Vanjoe... I loved ALL of the three recipes you showed here... Now I learned how to make ginataang isda the right way...😂. Also the pinangat na isda which I also loved to cook but it is a hit & miss before...I loved to buy the Bilong - bilong - being an Ilongga here in the States, it is sometimes difficult to find bilongbilong in markets. Also the paksiw na bangus that I cook is different... I just put vinegar, salt, luya & onions.. all together, let it boil...then its done..! 😂 It is just my own way..but now that you showed us the right and delicious way, then I will be proud to invite my friends to have dinner at my home serving these super delicious Filipino dishes..!! Thanks so much!!

I like all your fish recipes quick and simple.but I remember from my province of Quezon when cooking fish ginataan we cook fish ginanga style first not fried then sauté ginger garlic onion etc add gata boil then add veg like sayote pechay talo ng and we use tanlad or lemongrass and sitaw too .yummy.try it 😊
Hello po! Dito po sa amin sa Bicol, particularly in Naga (Camarines Sur), ang tawag namin doon sa "pinangat" ay "inun-un". Iba sya sa paksiw kasi may tomatoes. Then sa Ginataang Isda naman, mas masarap ung tulingan o tuna pero fresh dapat ang isda and kakang gata ng niyog ang gamit. Then nilalagyan din namin of course ng gulay like spinach, pechay or malunggay. You can put some tomatoes if you like then add ng konting suka. Just sharing our own version of these two fish dishes, the pinangat or "inun-un" and the ginataang isda. Thank you.
