I think this is the best video I've seen about gw2. Faak yeaah , full complete with information you will be looking for if you want to farm gold. This is a good and comprehensive guide on options for earning gold at a fair-good rate in GW2. Some of the options here don't really offer an amazing rate of return but does provide you with an alternative if you're tired of grinding silverwaste. Thanks for sharing.

Okey, I came back here from 2weeks ago, when he posted this. For all people, that might struggle. Don't be afraid to try this guide. I've went for world bosses here, and Forgotten City meta event. And it geniually boost my gold gain. I usually only did daily, which give you 2 gold, and did some exploration. But, now after this video, I am doing Tequatl the Sunless + few runs of Forggoten city event in day + Dragon stand, and at the end of day finishing with daily. And I went from doing max 5 gold a day. Up now to 30+ gold. Sure, the numbers might not sounds impressive for lot of you. But thanks to this guy now, I am able to afford my first ever skin for just a gold I got from those 2weeks.

Dont forget you can chain multiple metas in one run... I was doing pinata-gerent-tarir-drakkar-strikes/dailies/gathering-pinata-gerent-tarir-tequatl a lot. It isnt the most profitable rotation but you get a lot of currencies and have a lot of chances for infusions...

I wish I knew wtf you are talking about... I literally have no clue lol. Newbie who just started playing back with the expansions after quitting original game at level 50.... I'm totally lost with everything going on. Too much bloat. Too many materials. Too many menus and things going on. It barely makes any sense to me.

@@Vandragorax pinata is the boss in crystal Oasis - the first map os the second expansion... It starts with gathering casino coins. After 3 rounds it spawns and usually gets killed in like 30 seconds... That makes it super profitable since you dont have to be present for the entirety of the event... After the kill you go to tangled depths (third map of the forst expansion) for chak gerent meta and after it the saving tarir meta in second map of the first expansion... You ALWAYS use LFG to get into a map with many other people since some of these events require a lot of players. These first 3 meta events all have a tiny chance of super rare drops worth from 4 to 18 k gold each. After the end of tarir meta you can either do tequatl, drakkar or ooze meta. Tequatl is in sparklify fen, drakkar is in the second map of the new saga and ooze is in the first map of the new saga. All of them reward you with some gold/valuable items. If you are quick, you can also do the leyline anomaly (use wiki or cellos video to see how it works) in between the pinata and chalk gerent, but it is really a close call that doesnt always work. I advise you to first unloxck as many maps as you can and get as many waypoints as possible, then start with pinata-gerent-tarir... It is quite easy to get used to the rotation from there on.

I feel the same way when I watch these video guides, it all I'm sure makes perfect sense... to more experienced players who understand what they're looking at, but for me, a fairly new and very occasional player who is looking to get more into the game, I am lost when I stare at portions where it says look in your storage and sell mats you're not going to use... uhmmmm.... how do I know which mats I'm not going to use? How do I know which mats to save and which to sell? That's my problem... I grab a lot of loot at events and still sit there staring at the items and not knowing what I am looking at value wise.

All the loot you can sell, you will be able to buy for nearly the same price if you need. So don’t hesitate to sell if you need gold :)

Cellofrag Thank you for your response, it’s been confusing to me as I said before. I’m in a couple of FB groups and whenever they talk about making gold and selling loot they say if the item itself (rares for example) is selling for less than the price of an ecto, then break it down for the esto which is more valuable, so I’ve been doing that, and building up my ecto count in the bank, but I don’t sell them because I also need them in crafting recipes, so see? This is where it gets confusing. Also I’ve read you should open bags of loot with a level 57 character for higher tier loot, but if the bags drop on my main which is a lvl 80 won’t they already contain mats/gear geared to the drop level? Sorry, like I said I’m just trying to gain some clarity so I can more efficiently break down my loot and make the most out of it all.

@@xaphyreansar6996 a bit late, but the bags of loot don't generate what's inside until you open them, so it doesn't matter what level character finds them, only matters what level character opens it.

thank you for these guides, they are great to a fairly inexperienced and casual player as myself to at least get an idea of what can be done in this game, trouble is, that being a fairly inexperienced player i am clueless as to what I am looking at to begin with! I have ZERO idea which mats are valuable to sell, which ones I should keep for later crafting of ascended or legendary gear and which mats I won't need... it is a mind-numbing mind-boggle to try and sort these very important details to even get started! I have stacks upon stacks upon stacks of blood dust, emp frags, dragonite ore, wood, metal ores, just clogging up my several times increased bank slots and I want to get rid of it all at a profit or at least in a way that will be useful to me later on, so at least the part about the converters made sense... but at the end of it all, I'm still at a loss on how I can make gold AND prepare for my upper tier crafting 8( . And yes I have tried looking at wiki pages and I can go there and stare at a screen that doesn't tell me anything because I just don't even know what I am looking at and what it is supposed to mean. Just a vent from an inexperienced player who is looking to really understand and be able to fully appreciate all aspects of this game, please remember not everyone understands all the lingo, the jargon and the acronyms as well as the dynamics of the gameplay itself [steps off soapbox].

Legy prices seem to be going down, with mats dropping like hell in the new map. By now, there are 14 offers before mine in the auction house. Would you recommend me to re-list it cheaper, or to sit through it until the legendary arsenal (hopefully) increases legy prices again?

I farm 3 black lion keys every week by just doing 1 key a day by completing the story up to the battle of lions arch its really pretty fast and the lvl 60 gear is cheap and still reusable

it's not that much work really, the only "hard" part is getting the gold but the collection is very easy, and completely worth it, also the video is from Orpan, which you can find here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjbsF1zqt10.html she is the leader of a guild called acrobats of the skies, which I'm a member of we have members in both EU and NA so if you ever get the griffon and want to learn how to fly like that we can certainly help

the griffon is pretty easy to get, the gold part can be a little of a grind. it's way more work to get the skyscale. I started back in October and just completed and unlocked skyscale in late February. the griffon is really worth it, I helped my brother unlock the griffon and hes so happy with it :)

@@fairytalegamer7062 - congrats on getting the Skyscale. I guess my big worry is if I spend all that time on getting it and in a year or so they will make it so that you can just buy it with money. Or the new expansion gives an even better mount and it's easier to get.

Hi cello! thank u so much for the guide! I have a question: i just arrived lvl 80 and I want to do alt parking with some characters. They have to be lvl 80 to get full rewards? you recommend using the booster to lvl 80 to get one character to alt parking at the end of a puzzle? (f.e. at the puzzle that have 3 chest) thanks for your time

Temple of Kormir use your griphon AND springer mount. Only springer will not due and also if you don't own jackal you can't access this location. So Springer + Griphon or Jackal (no chance otherwise)

Dragonfall meta and bosses can be done with a Skyscale instead of a Griffon. If you don't have lag and have Skyscale masteries capped you won't fall behind at all.

One more: if you have an alt account, login every day to get laurels which you can trade for heavy bags and sell the T6 materials. Then send the gold to your main account.
