On the jade maw part he works the same as the Fractal one, that means that killing tentacles also damage the boss.

Something very important is missing from you guide. You need to do the pre-event in order to have the "Dragon's End controbutor" buff. Each event in the pre-event give 1 charge of this buff. When you have a stack of 10, you get a bonus of 20% HP and 20% damage. This is huge, everbody must havec this buff.

I have the egg, but I cannot get to Rota. That area of the map is locked to me, and I have no idea how to get in. I've completed the story up to chapter "Old Friends". I tried to do a few events in the area. I am still blocked from entering that area. Can anyone please tell me how to open it?

Well now is very expensive! Prices for carrots, kale and others stuff skyrocketed! 😊

What no one is saying about the turtle mount, is that you have to do the "End of Dragons" story, up to chapter 8, in order to open the portal to Arborstone. Otherwise, you collect the egg after the meta, and can do NOTHING else. So, this mount might be easy, but that's only AFTER you complete the story. This is quite the grind. You can also now purchase the egg for 200 writs. So, there is no need to complete the meta. See any writ vendor to purchase the turtle egg. Update - Just got my mount. Got it on the same day I finished the story. The hardest part of all of this was doing the story up to chapter 8. After that, in less than two hours I was finished with everything, easy peezy. Probably helped that I was doing this on a weekend, with lots of players. Took me two days in total. Can be done in a single day if you're hardcore.

I have to say. EoD is a hardmode raid lovers xpac. The turtle mount will be a horrible grind for casual pve''ers. for hardcore casuals it'll be similar to dragon's end difficulty. "the strike is not that easy" is an understatment. it's a hardmode stike just like Dragon's End meta- but a lil easier, still hard though. Again if yer a causal pve'er you're headace isn't over. If your a hardcore casual you'll need an organized group. for raiders - its probably easy-medium difficulty. Your best bet might be to have your raider friends carry you- if that works. It isn't guaranteed that you'll even be able to complete getting the turtle mount. Some of you probs won't be able to finish the collection.

This meta is fucking aggravating.

Over 40 hrs of nothing but fails. You have to get lucky to get a successful meta. Thank you for the guide though, I'm sure some day I'll use it :)

Thanks for the guide. Just a thought for everybody. Why are so many people complaining about that particular mount? Roller Beatle has a big collection too. Griffon has a big collection + 250 gold. Skyscale is both expensive, time gated and huge collection to do. Don't even get me started about warclaw which is locked behind wvw, the one game mode I absolutely hate, never play and my potato laptop cannot handle. I mean you do not need the turtle to play the game . And if you manage to beat the (soon to be nerfed to the ground) EoD meta then that particular reward is worth it, right? I don't get why people must always complain about something. Play the game the way you want and move on.

I'll never get this fucking thing. Not just because of the ridiculous RNG nature of the meta fight, but also the gold requirements.
