What a great video. I tried Hackintoshing last year but with all the guess work with Clover I gave up on it after about a week. Just watched this video and a few others of yours yesterday morning and by yesterday evening I had a shiny new Hackintosh fully operational. My hero dude!!

Thanks for sharing gonna try this as soon as I get an amd machine. It did take some time to do this though I cannot recall it ever took so long in all my hackintosh years but probably amd hackintoshes take a little longer to make.

thank you tehcnolli, Im working on the phase of SSDT making process, but now im curious that should I make my usb stick in the same hardware system that im gonna install hackintosh. honestly, I'm working on the other computer to making usb stick. but in your video, you said SSDT making process is the process that writing information of current hardware system in the usb stick. So should I have to install WINDOWS in the my new system(for hackintosh) and then making usb stick? Or could i do this process in other computer? thank you so much

Great video on OC on Ryzen! Wish I had it when I was making my 3900x with 5700xt a month ago. I do wonder why you use NULLPOWERMGT Kextinstead of using the OC config.plist setting to change power management. Why didn’t you talk about the ‘boot rags line’ in the config.plist. I found that I couldn’t boot without some additions to that line. The only problem I am currently having with my hack is the MacOS limit of only 15 USB ports. My Gigabyte X570 Pro WIFI motherboard has 3 USB controller chips and over 28 physical ports (including a USB-C two 3.1 ports). Some of my backplate USB ports are ‘dead’ and some of my USB 3 ports are limited to USB 2 speeds. I have been reading about doing a custom USB mapping but the process looks quite complex. Have you found an easier solution. I saw your video on the change from OC 0.55 to 0.56 and you saved me a lot of grief. Thanks! Again GREAT job!

Hey TechNolli, this was an awesome tutorial, however, you didn't indicate this was for Ryzen in the title. I've been trying to follow everyone's Open Core tutorials, but most RU-vidrs only have been showing AMD Ryzen Open Core Tutorials, I don't see any for Intel. The reason that I bring this up is because everyone has the folder "AMD Patches". I'm not sure if I need "Intel Patches", or would the AMD Patches work as well. I don't know. Not to sound like a total noob, but I've been using Clover for years and I would like to get away from Clover. I see a great future with Open Core, just having a little trouble getting started with Intel CPUs using these tutorials. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi, when using the MakeInstall.bat file... At "Copying EFI to..." the process stops and Command Pannel deseapers... so it doesn't show "Done." ... any idea? NOTE : the "EFI" does exists in the USB Key

Tried Tony mac way, olarila and even niresh distro method, but failed each time as it stayed on the message sleep states s1, s2, s3... or couldn't allocate runtime etc etc. Watching your this video has given me another hope to try once again. I am new in the Hackintosh world! So i don‘t know anything ...what‘s the point in installing Macos like that? If i install like that in this video will i get more stability? Cause i installed Catalina but almost every 20 minutes restarts from alone! And i coud not update ( maybe i did it wrong ) with my Rx 590 i get black screen on catalina 10.15.3 ...so with this mode woud work my Graphiccard? Hi..i got a asrock b350, ryzen 1600, rx 570. This will work right? Also I am not a tech person so i will follow your guide blindly. My computer has a 512GB Adata NVME m.2 and no other storage and of course my windows 10 Home is on that NVME. If my understanding is right, unlike other hackintosh's - here we are not installing Mac OS on a storage drive like SSD or hard drive but the OS remains and boots from the pen drive right? which means this OS will not touch my NVME or windows. The reason I ask is that last week I tried a different guide on a different desktop with a hard drive and a SSD and it screwed my desktop and I had to give it for repair. Hence please confirm that the booting happens from the pen drive and we will not touch my NVME with windows on it. Thx
