Your recipes rock. I’m not vegan but I have tried about 6 of your recipes and wow, they blow my mind. The flavors are amazing. I’m also diabetic so most these recipes go well with my diet. Maybe you could add a few true diabetic friendly recipes in the mix. Thanks for the amazing channel.
Totally agree on lunch... without leftovers I'm pretty much having a handful of chips or something. Any more lunch recipes are greatly appreciated (especially GF/soy free)
I thought so too before I went vegan, but it truly isn't hard at all. You can take exactly the same amount of care (or lack thereof) as you would with your normal daily diet and not really see almost any extra effort in eating :)
I love the recipes and the calming atmosphere but... the best part is how smoothly the videos run. I really do not want to watch how someone peels and then slowly chops and then slowly peels and chops the next onion and so on and on and on. Thank you Andrew :).
I have followed you for a long while because your flavors look so delicious. However, this is the first recipe I decided to try and honeeeeeh..it slaps! It is so flavorful and has great texture. Thank you. 🎉
I watched this today and immediately set out to make it. OH IT IS SO GOOD. I love chickpea recipes and this one really works for my tastebuds. The dill is a must! Being from Buffalo, I am all for anything "Buffalo Chicken" related. In this case, chickpeas. I ate too much, it was hard to stop eating.😆 I put it in a wrap, also taste great off the spoon, couple of the accidentally more processed spots took on dip texture. It all works. But yeh, I considered not reaching for the dill, but then wanted to try it exactly as you made it. It really gave it an added layer of flavor that is highly appealing.
This was fire! Replaced brown sugar with maple syrup. My lil nuribullet broke after the chickpeas 😂 it was a lil runny, but the flavor was still there! 😅
Your channel is just what I need in my life! My grandson was just diagnosed with celiac disease. He's 2 years old, but everyone's going to want to eat Waylons "special" food! All your food is so colorful, looks yummy!
You’re recipes and videos are not only super helpful on this journey but incredibly entertaining! Keep the Dad jokes coming!😅Thank you so much for giving of yourself!
This is great. I added pickled red onions instead of raw onions it adds a nice hit of acid and tapers off the raw onion sharpness. Something people could try.
Yes, I have a baby mouth, so thinking I will substitute Japanese bbq sauce that I finally broke down and bought - really like it. Don't know why, but haven't made wraps for a while even though I love them, so this is a reminder to get them back in the rotation.
🙌🏾 its so funny how that happens!? like you wont make something for a while and then this reminder hits and you ask yourself "why in the world have i not do this in a while" 😂
Grateful to you. It is hard to find recipes that are healthy, vegan, high protein, and gluten-free. It is easy to adjust and make your recipes gluten-free, the ones that are not. Thank you so much! ❤
Just like vegan "tuna". Love stuff like this. Another flavor secret... I keep a jar of pickled celery in the fridge. It's sooooo easy to make. Use it anytime something calls for pickle or cucumber. As I seem to have a sensitivity to cucumber. I know... weird. Stay amazing. PEEEEEEEEAAAAAACCCCCCE!
I made the salad part for lunch today and really enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of making hummus wraps with similar ingredients but this technique definitely gives the wrap a nice texture. I was lazy and just used some hot sauce I had on hand. But super easy and quick for weekday lunches.
Your videos always dehydrate me. 🤤🧡 I've been meaning to use a lot of your recipes in order to improve my health. Promise to let you know how it makes me feel. Peace!
this looks really good! reminds me of the wrap things i throw together from leftovers sometimes, but much more well rounded. also i bought a baby whisk because of you and it's rapidly become my favorite utensil.
Looks so good I can eat this😊😋just can't eat the wrap will just put on my plate and enjoy 😊🎉🎉I know you probably get tired of me saying this but I LOVE your tomatoe soup just got done making it 😋 see ya next week😊❤🫡🤗🫶🏽
@@thenarddogcooks thanks for the video! I also agree with your point about struggling to find lunch that isn't basically last night's dinner. I went to the grocery this morning after this video and my lunches for this week will be wraps with a Greek salad. Truly appreciate the reminder to keep things simple.
Spice Chicken, lol. If I learned anything today it is the term Spice Chicken...And I love it. I think if you use this term a lot it should be on that merch down here. Great video, Thanks! Have blessed day every day.
i'm going to be honest, i've been thinking about this recipe the whole week!! it looks so good. i'm soaking some chickpeas today, i cannot wait to make these wraps tomorrow!!
@@marbelhaj1234 okay so i fumbled the chickpeas real bad + had to sub half of the spices because i misremembered what i do or do not have so 😭😭 the final product is probably pretty far away from the recipe.. having said that, i do not feel qualified to give a review, but i plan to make it again in the near future. SORRY probably not what you wanted to hear
Haha, my man I watched this recipe up until the first dad joke (nicely done btw), and I said to myself "I don't have a food processor, but I got a potato masher!" and here you are suggesting just that. Wicked. Recipe came out delicious btw, and super easy to make. Definitely going into my regular rotation ♥
🙌🏾 burrito wrapping can get tricky. warming the tortilla and having a little bit of that "i dont care if i mess this up" mentally usually helps. other wise, if i was too careful the whole thing would just fall out 😂
Best chickpeas? (Dried and canned option?) I hear Rancho Gordo a lot. I'm also curious as to how well your meat replacements freeze if you have tried it. (I worry about texture change and maybe nutrition drops.)

Thank you! 🙏🏾 Yes, a warm tortilla is great! certainly helps with reducing tears in but also a good compliment to the taste. As for an enchilada recipe, it could! as a buffalo enchilada or leaving the buffalo out and using traditional enchilada sauce! Hope this makes sense! Appreciate ya!
So I just made the most KILLER buffalo hummus, and I consider it to be your recipe even though I made a couple of changes: I'm not vegan, so I used 3 T real butter; and instead of preparing a spiced mayo sauce, I used 1/2 c good chunky bleu cheese dressing, and 1/2 c Louisiana Hot Sauce, and no lemon juice, since the hot sauce and bleu cheese dressing have plenty of acidic tang. I was going to be lazy and not bother with the shredded carrot, but the hot sauce made the hummus so toasty that I had to add a cup of shredded carrot to cut the hotness. I just dumped all ingredients at once into a steep sided bowl and hit it with the stick blender until creamy smooth and totally addictive. Thank you Bernard, I'd NEVER have thought of this, much less added walnuts, carrots and celery. Fantastic!
How big of a food processer do you need for this recipe? The one you are using has a capacity of 3.5 pounds according to Amazon, but here in Europe they are marked with liters, and I'm not sure what capacity I would need.
