Brown sugar is def one that is worth the effort, I make a half gallon at a time and I used half and than let the other half sit to see how long it takes to get hard. It takes WAY longer to get hard than the stuff you buy so to me that tells me that the brown sugar at the store is probably very old. Plus I find it tastes WAY better and it smell sooooo good. Give it a try I think it will be a staple in your pantry.

Thank you for commenting 😊 I would say 6 months in an airtight container like the jars, but if you vacuum sealed them, I would say around a year. I haven't personally tested it as we eat them within a few weeks 🤣
