Easy Homemade Caramel Popcorn

In this video our host Albert Howell learns how to make easy and delicious caramel popcorn.
Ingredients
10-12 cups of popped popcorn
3/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Method
Melt the butter in a medium pot over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil and boil for 3-4 minutes while stirring constantly (Boil for a minute less if cooking on an electric stove
Add the vanilla, salt and baking soda and remove from heat Immediately, continue to stir for about 1 minute.
Begin to pour the caramel sauce over the popcorn while mixing. Continue until all the caramel is added.
Place the popcorn on two parchment lined baking sheets and place in the oven. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring half way through. Cool completely.
