Mandy King, our health and nutrition expert, teaches us to how make a matcha tea latte. This drink helps us kick the caffeine habit as well as boosting our energy. For those of us that wake up in the middle of the night, try one of these matcha tea lattes and sleep all night through.
Ingredients:
1 tsp matcha powder
1 cup water
1 cup coconut milk (the liquid from can with 1 TBSP of the solid)
1 tsp honey
Directions:
Place water, coconut milk and honey in a pot and bring to a boil, mixing so it doesn’t burn.
Once it’s boiled, remove from heat and mix in the matcha powder.
Place everything in a blender and blend well for 10-15 seconds (this is not mandatory but will help make it frothy)
