Super helpful! I am new to this and its way harder than I thought. Now I have to go and pull the tint off the two windows I did today because they're not good enough. And they took me four hours!

Some good knowledge the for taking the time to share ive done quite a bit of windows some better than others just did my car last night and it's got huge air pockets even though my cuts are ok

Great video! Im wanting to tint my own car, on a budget, in my garage. I don't own a torch or have any the equipment you used really so do you have any advice for someone like me? I feel i could do a decent job but i do have a few questions if you happen to read this. 1. Do you recommend any particular film for a newbie (link if possible) 2. I don't have a torch but would a blow-dryer work? 3. Are you just using a water/soap mixture to spray on the window? 4. Where can i get those rubber/plastic scrapers? I was trained for a week, but did not do any tinting for 2 months after training. I started tinting today but still having issues shrinking and installling.

@ 3:42 when you move your hand it looks like an eyeball is staring at us. I think it’s just a bubble but maybe someone’s eyeball did get stuck in the tint idk. Lol thanks for the tint info tho ✊
This video shows the best way to cut and apply the tint. One thing I do not understand - some people use heat gun to shrink even if the film is in good shape. Can you explain why?
Before applying it to the glass or after its on? Before is because the glass is curved and typically gets fingers along the bottom as thats usually the last part to be squeegeed, thats where the excess film is. So the preshrink at the bottom of the film takes that excess film away by shrinking it in.

I see many people heat the film with a heat gun while the film is on the outside of the glass. You heat the glass with a torch while the film is in final position. What's the difference, and is one way better than the other? Thank you.
