48/46 needle circular Knitting Machine IN TUBE MODE
or size 10 circular Knitting needles or extra large knitting loom
Scissors
Crochet Hook
Darning Needle
Yarn: I used 5 oz of Pound Of Love yarn, worsted #4 Denim Blue
Less than an oz of Pound of Love yarn, worsted #4 White
Scraps of waste yarn for casting on and casting off of the machine
and for holding stitches when working in flat panel mode
Steps:
1. Cast on with Waste yarn 5 rounds
2. add in Main Color Yarn knit in Tube mode 60 Rounds
3. Pick up 3 stitches onto scrap yarn
(Machine is still on Tube Mode but we will be knitting Flat)
4. nit 90 rows or however wide your back mine is 18" is
(my flat panel stitching is 5 rows per inch - check your gauge)
5. Cast on 3 stitches with backward E Caston (watch how I do it)
6. Continue in tube mode 60 rows
7. Cast off with Waste Yarn
8. Finish the edges of sleeves with LOOSE slip stitch.
9. Crochet pretty edging if desired.
