This is where I plan to explore and share all kinds of creative projects, patterns and tutorials that don’t fit over on my main channel Deliberately Creative.
I love to hand knit, machine knit on my circular knitting machines, crochet, sew, embroider and I want to learn more about Art Journaling.
Come along to my happy place and share in my creative joy!
Thank you I done as far as back and when took the line out so u knew where 2 do ur ribbing when took the line out my ribbon all came apart ur video then went straight to sowing so u didn't show u pulling that line out couple hours work ruined 😭
@@tatianaterziian2907 as a work around you can still do panels if your machine still knits in the round you can still knit panels- I always work flat panels on the regular circular mode cranking forward and backwards. You just have to pay attention to the ends of the panels as the machine won’t warn you to stop. Have fun
You are so cute. Love your giggles and your enthusiasm. Great sweater for only having it for a week and a half! Now you have had it for a year + . And look how much you have accomplished! I’m still trying to make one!
You are such a great cheerleader! I appreciate you and your positive comments and support. You may not have finished a sweater but you have made the knitted caplets!!
this is the most helpful video I have seen, suitable for visual and auditory learners, detailed and specific, amazing job! but I have a question we used waste yarn so that the ends don't curl but now the sides of my work(the light and left) curl, what should I do? also can you please show how to remove the zip line nd waste yarn
You will want to finish the edge with a slip stitch crochet- I share finishing the edges is all of my sweater videos - I can make a new specific video on finishing panels
You have come a very long way Stephanie. You made that "toy" function beautiful. I’m sure happy I found you a year ago sweet lady. Thank you for all you do for us (me)❤❤
@@StephanieBCreativity I will definitely watch for your next video. I will be making another capelet for myself. Love that design especially for me.❤️❤️
If you are new to felting know that you need to make it one third larger than to fit for the finished product because you lose 1/3 to shrinkage . So don't guess - measure . Know how many rows per inch and how many inche the pencils take . Then add 1/3 of that to get the finished measurement . But that is watching when you put it in the washing machine to shrink/ felt it. Check it often and don't let it agitate too long so you dont over felt it as this can happen and make your work into a messy outcome not what you intended . There are 3 things necessary to prevent felting and those 3 are also what make felt . So to prevent it don't agitate , run water on directly or change temperature. All 3 of these happen in the washing and so why it works for felting . You can also do it by hand but this works with less effort . Bonne chance .
Hi Stephanie. I was trying to make a cardigan but didn’t like the yarn(not soft). I think I could use the pieces to make this but larger. Or a kitty cat? Thank you.
Currently knitting my temperature scarf in bright Stylecraft colours on 4mm needles (garter stitch). Next year I want to do neutrals, the scarves are so much easier than the blankets and are budget-friendly.
These are so cute! I'm working on right now. Do I need to do something to make sure the stuffing won't come down out of the pants? It doesn't look like you stuffed the leg are or sewed up at the bottom. Just making sure I didn't forget to do something. Thanks! I can't wait to get this finished for my grandson.
Yea!! So happy you are making your own! I didn’t stuff the legs- if I were to I would stitch the legs closed. Have fun!! Thank you for watching and your quest! I bet others wondered the same thing.
lol- because I wanted a black cat? Actually it was because I was working out the design and I recorded it. Then I felt like the video was good so I shared it. I’ll be making more dolls using different colors so it will be easier to see all the stitches. Thank you for watching and your comment!
I love this thank you so much for sharing. I've done 2 in wool black n white just need heads N a fluffy one looks like my white cat. Odd colour eyes and the heads in the middle with front paws crossed. Now I'm in need of a tail. Struggling with sizes... Have you got a pattern for a nice tail pls. And can I share her... Oh when I did the 2nd rows of 25 I used pink fluffy type eye lash for 5 rows to do a collar.. She didn't need much stuffing...
I love hearing that you are having success with the pattern! I haven’t done many tails. I think I’d do a panel of 10 stitches wide by 15 - 20 rows to start draw string the ends and roll the side to make a tube. Let me know if that helps!
This is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for making these tutorials. I just got my Addi King and I’m now a lot less intimidated to start using it. The two colors of waist yarn is GENIUS.
I’m going to have to get Judy to make me a couple of pillows like this. I would love to have some in this pattern and I bet they are so soft! What a lovely video Steph! ❤
Yes totally soft and cuddly! I want to try making some doing an ombré dark to light from a corner to the opposite corner. I bet Judy would make beautiful pillows!
@@StephanieBCreativity oh ombre would be beautiful! Yes, Judy is very talented and she doesn’t give herself enough credit. But she really loves making things to be able to give to the senior citizens at that home. She’s really bonded with a couple of them and it’s very sweet to see her doing these things.
Whoohoo Helen! Thank you so much- this is a fun project and though it takes a little time it’s great for thinking positive thoughts as a gift for others!
Hi Stephanie ❤ I've recently acquired an addi knitter king. I totally get what you're saying in all your teachings! ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉 I'm trying to make this sweater. On the return which ends to the left then next row starts to the right, the last stitch split the yarn and I lost two proceeding stitches. Wah😭😭😭😭😭. How do I repair the end of row stitch failure? 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱🤬🤬😱
Oh my! I think I would work back to the edge with the problem and see if I could pick the stitches up with a crochet hook and then put them each back on their needles and continue to work. I hope it gets back on track.
@@StephanieBCreativity I got all back on track except for the last turning stitch. I don't know how to repair this last stitch. Maybe I should just rip it all back to ground zero and start over. 😫
@@beyondslwadams4225 I hope you can recover it but if it is really frustrating you- starting the panel over is always an option. It’s just one of those things that happens to us all at one point or another. I have started many pieces over to get them right. Good luck!
That frog is so cute but drove me crazy making it. Mine looks semi like yours. Had to change a few things i messed up , had to fixed my own way. Thanks for your ideas. Mine came out adorable!
