Hey Melissa, if you’re weighing chicken breast, and the scale shows 100 grams, you’d then input that weight into your tracking app to determine the protein, fat, and carbohydrate content based on the database’s information for 100 grams of chicken breast. Place your food scale on a flat, level surface.Turn on the scale and wait for it to display zero. Then Place your empty container or plate on the scale and press the “Tare” button to reset the scale to zero. This subtracts the weight of the container, so you only measure the food.Add your food item to the container or plate until you reach the desired amount.Record the weight displayed on the scale.
