People need to appreciate this iconic producer while he's still with us - this man produced classics for everybody from Pac, Kane, Fat Joe, Shaquille O'Neal, Big Pun, Biggie, Nas, Jay, Rakim, Heavy D, G Rap, LL Cool J, Blaq Poet, Craig Mack, Smif N Wessun, Prodigy, Lady of Rage, Ras Kass, Guru, MC Eiht, Tha Alkaholiks, Ill Al Skratch, Lil Shawn, Kurupt, Slick Rick, Gza, Goodie Mob, Redman, Busta, Jamal, AZ.... Dude even produced Miles Davis' final album in 1993.
I'm always surprised Mo Bee's not mentioned more often with Pete Rock, Preemo, Large Po and RZA. Dude defined the late Golden Age sound. Machine Gun Funk is one of the dopest beats ever
This man has a beautiful and peaceful energy about himself and we need more black men who think like this in all our communities!!! I’m proud to say that I’m one of them!!!
Why do you black folks think yall some spokesperson and representative of black folks? Lmao like just worry about yourself and your friends and family. Skin folks ain’t kin folks and a lot of people ain’t worried about no wannabe Superman in the “community”
"I Love the Doe" was pure genius. They got Angela Winbush to change the chorus from "I Love You More" to "I Love the Doe"- that must have been Puff's idea (he knows everybody). "Going Back to Cali" is one of my favorites- I just listened to it on Friday on my way to work.
Easy Moe Bee without question one of the greatest producer's who deserve more recognition and respect in the game not only for his all time hits but revolutionized the SP1200 Drum Machine a sound that elevate boom bap, mafiaso, soul and R&B being revolutionized to many more genre's of hip hop in the East, West and the South paving the way for many more all time greats. Easy Moe bee deserves his flowers and respect to his name.
Same here Richard I Put on repeat Every now and then BIG FOREVER 👑 BIG King Of New York Then Now FOREVER Still Squeezing 3 at your Cherry M3 and Banging Every MC Easily Its Still Who's Gon Be Next To Flip On That Cat With That Grip On Rap Lyrically Niggas Still Cant See Him Its Still Half These Rapping Cats Couldn't Score At They Halfpoint Game They Lame Speak My Name I Make Em Dash Like Dame I Love The Dough
In case you did not know Easy Moe Bee also produced records for Van Halen and other rock groups; he also showed The RZA the SP 1200, it was RZA first time ever seeing one!!
I use to do it when i rap. All you have to do is practice. Its light exercising a muscle ...the more you wrk at it the better/stronger your memory gets
@@maing.i5265 You have to be very disciplined and have your mind right to create that effect. The brain is a muscle. Biggie and Jayz took advantage of that super human strength 💪.
Easy Moe Bee produced some classics Joints for Tha Alkaholiks, Lady of Rage and Mc Eiht. This track Love The Dough is on fire including Going Back To Cali which is a classic club banger.
"I'ma spell my name one more time, check it, Its the, N O, T O, R I, O, U S, you just, lay down, slow, Recognize a real Don when you see one, Sippin' on booze in the house of blues"- Biggie Smalls This dude was getting smoother everytime he came out with a new song for me he is the definition of what an MC is
@@3rdGenerationCancer If I see ppl complain about Biggie or Jay Z subject matter or music being shallow I know they really don’t listen Big got down to the minutia of details 🧐👌 That was the culture at the time among the elite lyrical rappers
easy mo Bee is another one that was kool with both of them and everybody was kool , no beef at all. he seen it when it was pure love & respect with everybody
@@3rdGenerationCancer That’s not true. But it does seem that he was steadily cutting ties with people who he wasn’t hanging out with all the time. Maybe due to trust issues.
I love the dough is hands dw my favorite BIG and jay z song i play that song everytime i play BIG the skit in the beginning is 🔥 gives me NY vibes i also love srt8 ballin he did with 2 pac str8 classic
Maybe one of the most underrated producers ever...Craig Mack "Flava In Ya Ear",2pac "Temptations,2pac "If I die tonight, 2pac "(Original) Runnin", Biggie "Warning", Biggie "Machine Gun Funk" 🔥🔥 and its so many more!!!This man is production GREATNESS
We all wish situations would have ended differently. R.I.P to the 2 legends. Best believe if they both were still here a lot of people's favorite rappers today wouldn't be where they are today. Pac and Biggie paved the way and changed the culture. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@moneymaker3208 honestly probably not. They would be OG’s. They are only this big because they got killed. They would not be this revered this long if they had kept making music.
Salute MO BEE , great producer knows when and where to be for the job to be done. The drama has no place making the bag$$. But the industry has other plans!
Is there any way to contact Easy Mo? I'm making a basketball video game with the makers of Jam and Street, to honor them. Wanted Mo B as the EP. Amy leads Mass Appeal or others is much appreciated. Bless
Great interview Art I was recently debating some clowns on one of your other videos it’s good to see someone interviewing people from Tupac‘s pre-death row days I feel like it gives us fans an opportunity to get to know both sides of 2Pac as I was telling them all of the RU-vid platforms seem to think the only people who knew 2Pac was people that came into his life after he signed to death row much props to you for highlighting the fact that he had a much more extensive career then 11 months on one record label.
I'm really feeling this interview. It's good hearing about his production work, he did with different artists. I'm hoping he talks about 'Runnin' with 2PAC and BiG..Always loved that song❤
Interview skills need work, the man clearly said they left, no one called him back for the sessions, and then he still says, oh how was the session I know it had to be crazy ... sir, he said he wasn't invited back. Pay attention
