Easy Mutton Curry in Pressure Cooker
Ingredients:
500g Mutton
2 medium Onions, finely chopped
1.5 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 medium Tomato, chopped
1.5 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Shahi Garam Masala Powder
4-5 tsp Oil
Whole Garam Masala (Clove, Cinnamon, Cardamom), slightly crushed
Dry Red Chili
Salt to taste
Water
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in the pressure cooker.
2. Add crushed whole garam masala (cloves, cinnamon, cardamom) and a dry red chili. Let them splutter.
3. Add chopped onions and fry until slightly brown.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell disappears.
5. Lower the heat and add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, shahi . garam masala, and a little water. Fry until the oil separates.
6. Add the mutton pieces and fry until they are coated with the masala and the oil separates.
7. Pour in a glass of hot water and mix well.
8. Close the pressure cooker lid and cook until you hear 8 to 9 whistles.
9. Let the pressure release naturally.
10. Open the pressure cooker lid carefully.
11. Your quick and easy mutton curry is ready to be served hot with roti or rice.
