Morning Barbara, love the journal, the colour of the cover is super. Love the greeny-bluey sea colour. Love the signitures especially the envelope with the bird and the flowers, so very pretty. Actually, I love the whole thing, you may post it off to me IMMEIDIATLEY, if not sooner. i wish I could, but with our Postal Service and also exchange rate being the way it is at the moment, it is not possible, but HOPEFULLY in the future I will be the proud owner of one of your journals. I am having to make my covers more sturdy, because they go from gator mouth to T.Rex mouth, so I need the extra support. So I am using a cardboard box this time. But the paper bag covers give you that paper sound we so love!
I haven't tried the top down gluing method but I definitely will after seeing you demonstrate how it works. I love the bird you chose and the colors on the cover. How wonderful! I always appreciate your showing us how to fix issues that come up while putting a journal together. Thank you for sharing!
I absolutely love this, i have so many bits and pieces from pen pals and i have now decided to make a junk journal dedicated to all the happy mail i get including my post cards from post crossing.
Barbara, what a stunning journal, and I LOVE your way of gluing from the top down!!! I’m never doing it from the bottom up again. I’m always loosing my original beauty of having everything where I want and then blow it when gluing. Genius work Barbara!!! ❤

Bella!! I have the same anxiety about placing all of the pieces back to the original arrangement when creating. You could take a photograph with your phone and therefore would have a reference. Love your work!!
I was worried that you were going to skip the gold splatter or copper wax. It is a lovely journal. I have used your top down gluing method. It is so helpful!
Very creative, lovely and inspiring! I use dark paper to back an image like the bird so you don't see the image on the other side peeking through. Also, that was helpful to see how you organize and store small, medium, large ephemera!

We are still in lockdown here in South Africa so I am going to follow your very good tutorial and make one of these to stay busy but also creative. You are right, that color green they don’t have at the moment. Every time I am in the Action store I look for it and also for that Matt glue but I hope they will continue it once. I rush to watch you doing covers. You make it look so easy. And you know how covers hate me!! Lol. I’m gonna stick with them until I know how to make them look easy. Lol. I’m working on a closure for my best friend of about 40 years (give or take. I can’t ever remember, she’s just been in my life forever)! It’s such a beautiful Journal. The cover is even beautiful. Lol. This closure is gonna drive me loopy though. Anyway, keep putting these videos of covers out! ♥️📚♥️

My dear Barbara I want to say thank you for your videos, I find them so inspiring and so relaxing to watch. This cover is gorgeous, today i have covered a journal with a piece of linen but i have to cover the corners and unfortunately I haven't found here in Mainz, Germany a store that carries those metallic corners😢. I have to do another cover for another journal that is like the one I'm doing now and I think this time I will try to found another solution to cover it up. Kisses and hugs.
What I do when cutting birds and butterflies from magazines and such and there is an image on both sides that I like is make a copy of both sides...then I have both images to cut out and use...i also keep copies of all of my favorite images so that I can always have and use them! Just a suggestion🌞🌻🌺
Barbara, next time you have two pages that you want to keep, if your printer have a copier just copy one side. I’m sure it’s find if you’re not selling it. Love your videos. TFS.
I have been keeping an eye on Sora's site for her next bento drop..but she's had to put it off for a while because of health and other issues. And life, you know..that always keeps us on our toes. I'm hoping someday to catch it though, her packaging and taste is absolutely exquisite!

I’m in the USA and it’s October 7, 2023. Thank you for all the great content on your channel. I’ve really enjoyed this one especially. I’m commenting now because I wanted to say that several years ago my grandson (about age 5 at the time) gave me a dragonfly pendant just like the one in your video except it is silver tone instead of gold. I love that piece, it’s very special to me. Mine is not only decorative, but it is also functional as a magnifying glass. The back and front pieces slide apart. I don’t wear it often because it is also heavy. I think I may follow your example and have it dangle as you did on my next journal.❤

But I don‘t have a printer, so I can‘t buy them. Unfortunately! 🥲 But ist was a good idea anyway! So I find you and your RU-vid canal! And I like what you do very much! I don‘t have made a junk journal until now. Only a few mini-albums. After I saw your tutorial with the Ikea bag, I think I will start with this book! Thank you for showing it!
