Used this recipe the other night, but had to use cayenne instead of gochugaru. My family loved it, but just ordered the proper pepper to make it again! Thanks for sharing. Your channel is awesome!
Please try the Pink Samyang Korean Spicy noodle sauce in a bottle mixed with Sweet Baby Ray's honey bbq. Add a little gochujang & garlic & soy sauce to it too and anything you desire. It is so bomb for grillin or last minute into the oven! Sweet & spicy
Chef Chris, just found your channel and trying out your chicken recipe and it’s awesome. Also I’m from Philly born and raised, now living in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hot and spicy is my thing.😡Thanks
I think it's important to mention that the chicken needs to be near room temperature before grilling. If the chicken is cold, the paste will burn before the chicken is cooked all the way thru. Learn from my mistakes! ✌🏽
Hey Chris i tried this tonight and was awesome but i need a sauce for it. Im new to korean food so be gentle with this here newbie bro 😂. Massive love from the UK
5:56 I like mine a little burnt hahaha but I’m Filipino too. We like our BBQ crispy on the edges and juicy on the inside. BTW, no one saw that you almost dropped the lid 😉
Hi Chef Chris!!! Your recipe looks super delish!!! What is the "Pepper Powder "??? The chickens sounds Oh...so...good. I will have to give it a try for sure. Thanks for this recipe... Oh yes, I would like the Soy marinade recipe also...Great Video my friend!!!🦋
It is Korean pepper powder, which is also known as gochugaru (fine). You can normally buy it at Korean supermarket or Asian supermarkets. Let me know if you try it out!!
I cooked the chicken for my work family as I said it would, last night, and I’ve just been told it was excellent!! I tried a piece of the chicken myself and it was lip smacking good😋
@@ChefChrisCho oh no, they’re eating good because of you!! The mum and dad both told me the next day that the chicken was excellent🎉🎉. Hats off to you and thank you for sharing your amazing recipe❤
Korean food is my new great love after Pakistani/Indian food, it’s because of all the flavour. I have to cook for my work family and I’m going to have to try your recipe out on them. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
Ooohhhhh that looks action. I think I need that for our next hibachi here in hawaii. Maybe I gotta cut down on the spice tho lol. I can handle but not the family lol
Looks like straight fire 🔥 bro! Serious question, how important to the recipe is curry? I’ve had Indian food and it wasn’t my favorite, mainly because the dishes look similar to ours so my brain says it should taste a certain way 😂. So I’m kinda worried about curry now. And you already know we want that soy recipe as well! Who you kiddin!?
