FLAMES on your MINIS 

Love the vibrant colors and that you use them so bravely. Most painters use dull, boring colors, to look dark and gritty and "💀grimdark💀" :D But your creativity is next level shit, truly. (to not look like an overexcited fanboy, here is some criticism: i really can't understand the dried, grassy, wallblanket-curtain thingy behind you 😄it works as some kind of acoustic wall foam to brake the echo, and increase the audio quality in some degree, i guess, but looks rather silly tbh 😄 On the other hand: as long as you make these awesome videos i don't even care if you sit in front of a pile of burning car tires every time ☺)

I don't own an air brush yet though, I keep putting it off and buying more minis instead, LoL. I know they can speed up steps so well, and you can get base level gradients with them which you can then use as a base for glazing. I really need to stop messing around and just get one. I really want to get a nice double action though, and not mess around with a cheap one. Although will likely have to get a cheaper compressor to start with, or it will become too scary of an investment. I had my eye on a Spartax compressor as well but the compressor was more than the air brush I think, ha ha. It's hard to not buy more minis instead though, always happens.

Nice effect but would be better to use the same mini for each step.

Going to be doing 3 x Greater Daemons of Tzeentch and a couple of Blobs of Flamers for a Daemon army for tenth. This video popped up just in time. I really want to go crazy on thhe Tzeentch minis colours, to represent a constantly changing colour scheme. I've had a vision for how I want my Tzeentch to look for a long time (I once did a Daemon Prince that used a Cockatrice as a base, but has loads of limbs and stuff growing out of it, as it was supposed to look like it was constantly morphing ) I guess a I see Tzeentch as being like Biblically, accurate Angels. All the eyes and feathers and changing shape, random limbs popping out of it, etc. But then you also want to go nutty on the colours. Although for conversions you don't want to take too much away with the scheme. That's the Glory of Tzeentch though, it's ever changing, so you are less confined by a uniform scheme.

Love the technique (I've been planning on using purple and flocuscent pink highlights on black armour on my Drukhari's), the highlights and effects are fantastic. And looking forward to Bel'a'kor, got a new sub from me.

something iv been thinking about a bit, flame and plasma effects are SO common on miniatures and they always require the brightest spot to be the deepest in (as you show here, the smoke should be dark while right in the center the flame should be at its brightest) yet something that would be really helpfull for this doesnt exist a TRUE white contrast paint or wash, something that is actually white white and sinks into the recesses of a model and tints them pure white while not really effecting the raised/flat surfaces much "white" contrast and speed paints at the moment are always just light grey, but an actually white one would be super helpfull for things like plasma and flame, paint your base colour, slap over the white contrast/wash and boom, the center of the flame is the brightest as mini painters we have many tools and techniques that are super helpfull for making the raised surfaces brighter or the recesses darker, but basically nothing except time and patience for doing the reverse
