I LOVE this type of video where you show us all the highlights of each room, this is such a great educational journey! I live in Honolulu where we don't have a lot of furniture stores like CB2 so this is such a treat for me to "visit" these store through your eyes. Please do more videos like this, perhaps with others stores such as RH!

These colors make me so happy! My motion Italian leather sofas in my living room are the color of the armless sofa. The wall color in the photo is in my home throughout (Sherwin Williams Oyster White)…with Sherwin Williams Alabaster on the trim…Agreeable Gray on all of my interior doors…black door knobs…I have polished nickel handles on all of my cabinets and vanities and faucets….I am so happy and loving that my colors are the popular upcoming colors! We have almost finished with this home after losing ours to a fire on 1/7/21…so I took everything I would’ve done in that home and did it in this one! Still got a very long way to go…but incredibly happy with my colors and fixtures, etc….lots of blacks, whites, off whites, warm metallics, different shades of caramels, grays here and there (not too much)…these videos are very inspirational! Thanks!

Have to say I am enjoying the shift to travertine and brass and warmer whites, and globe lighting. These are what I have had for many years and they all were very expensive. The grey craze just didn't work for me and didn't go with my house. Now my stuff is all back in style.

This inspired me to move my dining table off center with the wall behind it (it's between 2 windows) and it's actually SO GOOD. I moved a tree to the empty spot balance it and it looks more casual but in a good way. The tree helps show off the high ceilings and adds some much needed life to that area that I couldn't fit before with it totally centered and stuffy

This is a comment re: the dining room you showed first: I think another reason the juxtaposition of mirror, storage cabinet and art works well is because the art is centered between the mirror and cabinet causing ">" which still flows well. It is a pleasantly different arrangement, but not chaotic.

Thank you Valentina for showing the fashionable minimalist room styles that are currently trending without clutter, just the necessities can be comfy! I love the unadorned purity. Is it a round clock not a mirror over the fireplace? It has the hands of a clock in the first picture. In the zen bedroom if you look more closely you can see it is flooring under the rug, not a rug under a rug. Incorporating the private natural outdoors as part of the bedroom decor is trending.
@sharonfantastic17
@sharonfantastic17 Год назад
The "hands of a clock" is actually the reflection of the chandelier. I think that's what you are referring to? I was confused when she was talking about the double rug, because there is definitely only one rug in the picture, just like you observed too!

Great video! I'm obsessed with CB2 right now as well and I loved hearing your breakdowns of their room stylings. It was super inspiring and I loved seeing some of my favorite pieces incorporated in some of the photos you chose. I'm in love with the scaley vase, which I ordered and supposed to receive this spring, as well as the cement box! Found a new fave in this video too! That black lamp I probably would have passed by online without catching it until that photo of it in the living room. It was stunning paired across from the beautiful tall tree like that. Love it all! Would love to see more of these videos, especially of CB2, or even Crate & Barrel.

Great video, Valentina! I love the dining room, but it kept me busy flipping back and forth trying to figure out if the placement of the table was changed for the second picture. Very interesting... I also noticed that the ceiling light in the first version was lined up with the fireplace, not the table. And, I wondered if the light was changed in the second version to add some roundness against the structured drapery, table and floor. The bedroom was also gorgeous and inviting. But... The living room looks like a museum installation to me. Lovely to see. But...

The beige in my place is a brown olive beige... with a lot of green undertones... After removing a vent, it tore out 54 years of wallpaper and paint, and it turns out the original colors on the wallpaper from 1968 were olive green and taupe - which is the sort of beige here... I love the color, though I didn't choose it - my green marble collection of stuff completely fits, I can mix in travertine, white marble and black marble, along with all the copper items -and it all ends up calming and cohesive...

Hi Valentina This is my 1st time commenting. I love your channel. You are very inspirational and loads of fun. Love this content today. Can you do a segment on fireplace mantels. I have a brick fireplace and covered it with dark, dark gray porcelain large format tiles. It looks really great. My wall is painted a dark, dark gray to match, but at the time, I had them take down my traditional mantel, and I did a white oak wood mantel. I want to change this, but I don't know what style and material.

I really enjoyed getting the design tips in the rooms about how you arrange things to create flow. I have a small space so I'm typically just trying to make the most efficient use of my space. As a result, no untucked dining room chairs - they'd just be blocking my way to the kitchen!😄I also loved that bed and all the travertine, but man, I do not like that couch. I'm tall and I really can't stand the low profile trend. Especially combined with no arms and the low back - that can't be comfortable. And the puffiness of it? Can you imagine grandma trying to stand up? Anyway, I don't have to like all the trends! At least the table in that room was gorgeous. As for the lighting fixtures in the dining rooms, I prefer the first one. On a funny note, I was on vacation a few months back and visited Montezuma's Well in Arizona and there is a huge block of travertine there and I couldn't help but think of how many designers would be dying to get their hands on that!
