Merhaba. Hope you are fine. Mouth watering recipe. May Allah maintain the taste of your hands. Ameen. Definitely i will try this soon. I am your new subscriber. Lots of love frm pakistan.
Merhaba Abla, I tried this recipe and it came out flawless. Thanks to your daughter's effort as well. Enjoying the taste of Turkish food in UK. By the way, I always watch your video but this my first time to comment on your video. Stay always blessed..!!!
You must have forgot that it is needed to add something else, yogurt, milk or water to prepare the revani. It is impossible with only 4 eggs to be able create the texture of 4 cups flour and half cup semolina. It will be all dry.
Just made this yesterday- it was delicious! A lovely, simple, light and moist cake to have alongside some tea or coffee. For those in the States- I used a 6x10 inches baking dish and baked at 340°F for 25 minutes and it was perfect. In fact, it tasted even better the next day!
This is originally an Egyptian Cake. The right original name is (Rawani) and still we make this recipe in Egypt using its old name (Rawani) , but Turkish people pronounce (w) as (v). Also Semolina cake is called Basboussa (an Egyptian name) , the word Basboussa is an Arabic word that is derived from the verb (Basbas) that means (flow) in English Actually , Basboussa is totally different from Rawani in spite of the same main ingredient which is Semolina
Assalamwalikum love to see your recipe...please make a video on basbuosa recipe with yogurt...more recipe of dessert...and chickens and mutton mandi without oven ...itz humble request 😊
Asalam u alikum, I recently subscribed your channel. I respect the Turkish traditions and food especially after watching series Drills Ertugral, we all Muslims are same. I watched your revani recipe (which you designed star shape) and I am trying today as well but at the same time I found this revani recipe too which is purely cake ...so which one is authentic Turkish recipe????why both recipes are different????
Hello Aysenur Altan..I am a new subscriber and I have bake these revani a total of three times already.. I bake in a 8×8 inch pan..very delicious and my two sons can finish one cake within minutes..Thank you very much for the recipe..
Hello my dear! Can I use any type of sugar to make the syrup? I wanted to avoid using white sugar, so I have demerara brown sugar and coconut sugar as well. Thank you
Hi do you have the recipe for Basboussa with a layer of cream in the middle. Semolina in the bottom cream in the middle and semolina on the top? Thanking you Patricia
Merhaba. Full watched. Love to see your videos. Will try to watch all of them during lockdown. Once we have availability of baking powder eggs and yeast in the shops we will make it too
Your daughter looks like she's great in the kitchen just like her Mom. I'm loving your channel. I make some of your recipes for parties. I get to impress the guests when I say it's Turkish and then they're like, ooooh. It's instantly more exotic and tasty to them. :)
I have been looking for a recipe like this for a long time. The Arab style for this cake uses a course semolina and is thinner and less fluffy. I knew it was an easy recipe because I remember women sometimes making it after dinner for a little something extra. Thank you as always for the great recipes!
Had a cooking class in Istanbul for this Sunday with a man named Rocco but was in a mild car accident and could not go. I will use your lessons instead.
Salam, thanks for sharing the recipe. It looks delicious. Will try some time. I appreciate the way you speak. So gentle n polite. May Allah bless u dear.
Merhaba!Greetings from Romania.I am a big fan of turkish food and turkish culture. I m so happy I found your channel. I hope i ll find a grape leaves rice mint and dill dolma recipe.
Oh so nice, I have been waiting for this recipe since a long time. Just got back from the supermarket with all the ingredients. Will be doing it tomorrow 😋
@@TFT honestly I don't know, but turkish cousin has huge influenceon on middleeastern cousins in general and the Egyption one is no different specially on dishes like dawd basha kofta and sharkasia.
I followed your recipe and it was really easy & nice! It was much nice than the one I bought for $6 a piece at Mediterranean food deli near by my house in USA! Thank you again for sharing recipes.
@@TFT yes just one portion was $6! It can be even more expensive in big city! I used to stay in Istanbul for few months long time ago. I am so glad I can cook Turkish food at home now by following your RU-vid!
