Thank you for this very informative video. I have type 2 diabetes, I will definitely try to include all these items in my grocery shopping. Some suggested additional items are: kale, stringbeans , okras, pumpkins and carrots.👍👍👍
I use onion and garlic in every thing I cook and turmeric with it most every day 🤷🏼♀️naturally olive oil for salad and light frying ! I eat pickles beets does it counts? No beans for me I am diabetic 😏I grow green onion in the water on my windowsill and use the green part for salad or some foods ! I wonder if that count for onion?

I think you should eat at a young age by the time you reach 50 it will keep you healthy not to wait until you are 50 just like medicine you have to take it for a while before it worked just like children you have to give them vitamin at a young age you don’t wait until they are older

Very useful information, I am close to 75, I now understand why I am living a healthy life style ! I have been eating more than half of the recommended foods without my knowledge.
Great video 👍🏾 Is anyone in here under 40? 🤷🏽 While all these foods are great. Studies show some Tumeric has high levels of lead. Also, wild caught salmon is what you want to eat, as farm raised salmon studies also show it could link to cancer. I am not saying these studies are 100% accurate, but they are out there.
I think we also need to learn how to plant 🌿 them all especially in this era of urban farming. As Africans some of us live in over two plots of land, part of which we can use to plant what we have to eat.
