You can put your original listing date in the custom SKU with everything else you put in there. Then you can sort by SKU and use"contains" instead of equals and put in the date that you want. You could put in just the date or you could put in 2024 and you'll know that it was listed in the year 2024 or you can put both.

I run my store and have difficult time getting over 275 listings. Each week, I take 75 listings, end them, and sell similar. I bulk adjust and drop prices by 2%. It used to work really well. I decided a few months ago to promote 75 listings at 2%. It went well, but I think they expect more. I started removing promoted listings (just the promotion) and they have killed my sales. I believe firmly, since I was promoting heavily and quit, they truly have an algorithm that will discriminate againt sellers.

The "Rag Bag" thing sounds awesome. The religious thrifts near me will just throw stuff out if it's off message. That's cool that you figured out they put band Tees in there! I love finding those kinds of secrets in thrifts because it keeps the day trippers out of your business.

I like how you do your sales, but I do end and sell similar.Maybe I'll try the custom thingy. That said, I ran a sale on everything this weekend and sold 2 things. Everytime I run sales I get offers for less than 50% of the original price, so once again, I'm over it for a bit.

I put location or inventory number in the custom SKU box. I also put the three letter month and year at the end. Later on, I can sort the custom SKU box with the month year and I'll know whAt month the item was listed. For example, hot wheels SKU would be "HW Box 10-1 Apr23" so I'll know that hot wheel is in box 10 number 1, it was listed Apr23. When I sell and relist or sell similar I can still sort this item by Apr23.
