In this one we look at a real-life, real-world suspected used car scam attempt where the scammers are listing cars for sale on eBay (eBay has been made aware). Let's look at the course of events, the red flags along the way and then I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
The car was listed for sale on eBay for under £9k however was just sold by a dealer for £20k. Used car scams are rife in the UK and it's only with knowledge that we can learn, spread the word, and try to stop the next one from happening.
eBay is aware of this case and eBay Motors has evidently referred it to a different team. At the time of publishing the seller and the ads were still live.

Once again, I'm not accusing the seller in this video as I have no evidence but what I do have are lots of warning signs that would need some serious explanation. Simply never buy a car that you cannot see and always treat things that seems to be too good to be true as exactly that.
