You seemed pretty pissed off in this video, must be getting a lot of spam from people. I’ve had a shorter curtain style for about a year and I’ve been able to pull it off somewhat with my wavy hair, but I’m probably going to grow it out longer. I’m probably like the only one who wasn’t inspired from TikTok to get the haircut since I just wanted to go for a retro 90’s look and thought it looked great.

TheSalonGuy It’s gotta be pretty irritating, I’m a little irritated myself with the popularity that the hairstyle is getting because when I planned to reach for it, literally no one had it yet and my inspiration was TV shows and movies from the 90’s and then right when I achieve the hairstyle, it randomly blows up on TikTok out of nowhere, and it’s no longer unique to me, although I still like it, but being inspired from TikTok just ruins the retro aspect of it.

Ya Boi Avery Eventually the trend will probably die off. When people think I have an eboy haircut, I just tell them that the biggest distinction between my hair and the eboys’ hair is that I don’t dye mine and mine is inspired from late 80’s-late 90’s pop culture. At least that distinction keeps me going.

Coming from my experience, if you have hair on the wavy side, you can 100% get this. The only thing holding you back is making sure the waves work with the hair. It’s tricky, but as someone with wavy hair, I know it’s 100% possible.

@@zahidsaldana647 Well, I use my fingers to pull the hair straight down whilst blowdrying. As soon as the hair starts to sit TOO flat, I push it backwards, and blow dry the hair straight down again. I repeat this process until the hair is dry, and I sweep it back, letting it fall naturally on its own when I'm finished.

to get the flippy uppy hair I used to when I was younger is just get a brush and brush it straight forward then up when wet and when it dry it has the curl I have the most very slight wave in my which helped but that is a way to get that which was referenced

As a hairstylist, I disagree about the texture. Most the people im seeing with this cut have wavy hair. They're even perming their hair to make it wavy in Korea. So I think its best for straight or loosely wavy hair

Thanks again.. No harm in iterating such useful information for a famous nice style.. As a matter of fact my hair is not 100% straight.. When I used to wear the style I used to apply a gel after washing and when brushed away my hair got perfectly straight.. The next day even more silky... Then when it got mega long don't ask hahaha....

Finally i D.I.Yed my eboy/curtain hairstyle, my left n right sides isn't proportional but i don't mind it.
