Let me know if you have any questions and let's get come conversation going.
correction# the ecoflow alternator charger is actually £325, appreciate the price correction from viewer and hence this update, don't so much appreciate his comments after it so I've also blocked him from channel.

Thanks for the review. It also, really, shows how ANY of these types use. So that's helpful. For me, I can only imagine that I'd need one on the farm as a portable power tool genny! It looks definitely easier to load onto a wheelbarrow than my petrol genny. Cheers 🇬🇧

The delta pro is down to 2300 quid now as the delta 3 is released. I seriously considered the delta pro but it was extra money I don't have at the moment. Its a beast.

All of my laundry, device recharging & most cooking is done now via solar using external power banks. It's been a journey and I'm loving it.

With the cost of energy only ever going one way, its a good way to save money 💰 and future proof a little for unforseen outages. Definitely the way to go. What system did you go with out of interest?

@@Scottishprepper73 I have the Bluetti EB70 & the AC180, both with 120w solar panels each. The weather at moment is proving difficult, so I've connected both panels together.

I run a Trends Audio TA 10.1 T class Amplifier (8-10W), Cello 22 inch HD Satellite TV (15W), Blu-ray/DVD player (12W) and couple of Desk Lamps (converted Anglepoise lamps to use 12V LED E27 bulbs 9W each) from the DC5521 Outputs on a EcoFlow Delta Max 2000. Family Guy - Thomas Edison (HQ)

Nice. I looked into these a while ago and I think that people who buy them should use them in real world conditions as I think that there's a lot of misconceptions about what they can do tbh. Your test with the kettle shows just how much simple things we take for granted can use in terms of power and how that then translates into how long it will take to recoup that power via whatever charging methods. A great option for sure, especially as a transportable power source, but a plan of what you may want to use and how during a longer term outage would likely be a very good idea. I remember a while back when a storm smashed the electrical network in a city here that people with home batteries were surprised when they only lasted a day or so as they didn't change their usage habits and they couldn't recharge them quickly enough. It's a bit like water really. Most of us use way more than we think simply because it's so easy to turn a tap on. Good review, thanks.

I bought a low-watt camping kettle (600w). Takes longer to boil but uses much less power.

@@Aidan1444 Yeah I think that I've seen those, good idea. The other thing the guy I go camping with is to boil up more water in one go, say when cooking breakfast, and then putting the leftover in a Thermos for use later. I have a couple of ways to boil water when out and about that don't need power but you obviously need something else instead.

I have used the 12v lead to charge a 2nd SG from my 1st one. With the 1st one connected to the solar panel, using the through charge thing - I could have just swapped the solar lead, but I was going out and curious if it would do it. Be interesting to see the EV charging as that is one of the biggest drawbacks to the EV's - running out of power
