Ed is a professional! And some scenes with Colonel Roy Mustang. From episode 13: "Fullmetal vs. Flame" (The original FMA, not Brotherhood) I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist and these clips. I just edited it a bit.
IDK about Mustang in the original, but it would have been super out of character if he said that in Brotherhood. Which makes me like Brotherhood even better.
Adam Driver I disagree. It was bitter-sweet and unexpected. Something that totally caught you off-guard. I respect the writers for taking such a dark path. Of course, if you're talking about Conqueror of Shamballa, then I totally agree. That movie sucked ass.
+AnOverdoseOfTuturu I really liked the ending of the anime -- I thought I had found someone who thought like me - butthenyousaidthemoviesuckedass. I...I'masinnerIsuppose. FMA 2003 and the connected movie is my ultimate guilty pleasure. I love it all.
Octavia Adamson Lol, there's nothing wrong with liking the movie. I've met plenty of people in my time who loved Shamballa and thought it was a welcome addition to the franchise. I personally just thought the movie was sort of... unnecessary? Yes, that might be the right word. The 2003 series ended on a marvellous note, and I honestly didn't see a need to stretch the series out even further. Which might've been the reason for my salty reaction towards the movie. I might give it a proper chance one of these days. TBH all I remember of the movie is that it had gorgeous animation, a few historical accuracies (which I liked) and an ending that left a bad taste in my mouth. But as it stands, the 2003 series is still my favorite anime of all times :)
AnOverdoseOfTuturu Ohh, phew. I was trying to tread lightly since I thought you'd be all prickly about someone who liked the movie! it's a huge relief that you can see things on a level of 'hey, I don't like the movie, but I respect those who like it.' I think that's the best mindset to have when it comes to things. For me? Well...I really adored the atmosphere of the movie; It's definitely a bit odd, but I like the whole 'the gate is connected to a version of our world' plot point. It was very sudden and all in your face at the end of the anime -- but I really adore how the movie covers Edward's living style in the world. I'm just really glad that Ed and Al are back together at the end, too...To never go back to Amestris, but to at the very least be with each other; they really deserve at least that. I wrote a story that covers a bit about this if you'd like to give it a read, hon. plus.google.com/u/0/109950894888913823194/posts/3UmHCsSUTo2
*Roy is introduced and seems unable to care less* "BOO!" "You just want a promotion!" "Give me back my girlfriend!" "What are we doin'?" *Roy boi still couldn't care less* I love this anime. Edward's moves too! XD
Ah, colonel sarcasm. I just love how a guy yelled give me back my girlfriend in the background. and I swear I heard Roy quoting something from somewhere...
''Struck on the philosopher's stone again, Huh? How am I supposed to keep funding this goosechase!? Money doesn't grow on trees there, chief! Ed!? Where'd you ran of to!? Oh wait, there you are! I couldn't see you there behind my paperwork. Seein' how you're so short and all! HAA HA HA HA HA HAA!!'' That's how I keep hearing it xD
@@couragew6260 If your opponent has a violent temper, seek to irritate, and never fall for an enemy's taunts. Ed uses that theory too, when he fights Lan Fan, he taunts her about Ling to piss her off so she won't concentrate on the battle as much. It worked as well for Mustang as it worked for Ed.
I love how he can pull off such scenes as the lust and envy scenes and make them perfect but he can also pull off a completely jovial individual aswell
while that is correct... it's simply objectively not as good. not because it's bad, necessarily, but because the manga storyline is better. altho' roy is pretty win right here.
Riza knows everything and she also knows that Roy is serious about none other than her. So, she just keeps quiet and let that idiot do whatever he does😂😂😂😂😂
I may love FMA Brotherhood, but the 2003 version always stays close to my heart since it was my first anime. I also find the humor more entertaining here then what they had in FMAB. It's so charming! ^^
The animation in that first scene is particularly smooth, I really like it. I noticed a few times when watching brotherhood that it would suddenly be very smooth for a quick scene.
LMAO 😂😆😁my brother told me that I was pitiful for knowing the whole part where Ed was impersonating Roy!! I told him I couldn't help it, it's like the best part ever and my favorite to be exact.
I've never could finish the first episode of brotherhood because I can't get over how the original ended, and how I saw officer Hughes the the first sene.
In case you didn't, brotherhood has a more sastify ending... And I'm saying that althought I'm one of the few people who do love the ending of the original series
