Everything of Ed’s after “+” has been increasingly inconsistent. He only sounds his best when he’s doing songs like “Lego House” or “Castle on the Hill”. I would kill to see him do another stripped back record. The poppier sounds aren’t doing it for me. I guess when you’re successful the label makes most of the decisions.....

honestly I was BIG on ed sheeran starting from late 2011/early 2012 and it's sad where he's at now. I thought only a small selection of songs from this album were worth saving. X was the last album I really liked from him, and really hesitated with ÷. while I also appreciate that he's trying to adapt to the current music scene, I think he would've done a better job if he had continued with the sound he had years ago.

Ed Sheeran made great music years ago before he became so popular. Every song had a message and was enjoyable to listen to, but now it's a lot of radio hits. It makes sense with how huge he is, but I can't get into his stuff anymore. I listen to + all the time still.

Why do the music critics dislike 'Blow' so much? I love that track, my new favorite Ed Sheeran song. And i love this album. Though, i am a big Ed Sheeran fan, so it shouldn't be surprising.
