The fact that the Parental Advisory sticker is changed to "Snowflake Advisory: Explicit Content" says everything you need to know about this album and its quality.
Anyone who uses the term “snowflake” unironically makes me contort my whole body. Ironically, those people are bigger “snowflakes” than those they make fun of.
I thought it was bad this album was charting on iTunes, but then I thought about the kind of people who still purchase entire albums for 12 dollars on iTunes and everything became clear
Call me old-fashioned but I like being able to have at least a file of my music that I own, as opposed to just paying for the rights to listen to it. Even if it costs me more. I don't like how everything is a subscription these days
“To everybody that’s congratulating me right now on my new Kid Rock parody video, let me clarify - that’s not me. That’s actually Kid Rock.” -“Weird Al” Yankovic, 2021
One way you can tell Weird Al wouldn’t parody Kid Rock like that: I’m pretty sure Weird Al rarely, if ever, uses profanity. Or at least he doesn’t use the same kind of strong language that someone like Kid Rock would use. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Weird Al use an F or S-word before. And I’ve seen him live a few times and met him more than once.
@@heymistercarter. I would so love to see him do a PG-rated parody of Kid Rock’s new album as a way to roast him! It would sell more copies and be streamed more than the actual Kid Rock album for sure! Also, I’m jealous that you got to meet Steve Rogers/Captain America himself, Chris Evans based on your profile pic!
"I hate to get political in a review" This album is more political than most Dead Kennedys records. You can't even touch it without getting shit politics all over you.
My question is just how can people that want to live free like kid Rock wants ig support a Party that has long lost this value and is no controlled by right wing autocrats that think Orban winning is a good thing and evangelicels that want to control everything because they feel the need to "safe" everyone but in that process activly take away peoples freedom and rights I just dont get it Glad i dont live in the US
Yeah but what an easy out right now for someone with an otherwise failing career? He's the musical Kevin Sorbo. It's so fucking easy to be popular right now in right-wing politics because you just use whatever 4 or 5 buzzwords are in at the moment and vomit them out over and over again. There's nothing to it.
She’s most likely gonna host a Conservative version of Coachella this summer at Mar-A-Lago with Matt Gatez that’ll air on Fox News, OANN, Daily Wire and Newsmax simultaneously and will feature Kid Rock along with other Conservative musicians such as Ted Nugent, Hank Williams Jr., Lee Greenwood, an Elvis impersonator or two or three or more, Jason Alden, Lil Pump and Kanye West all performing songs that are essentially their temper tantrums about how liberals are ruining America and that people like Disney and the LGBTQIA+ community are quote-on-quote “grooming children into being gay.”
for real whenever I see a not good was posted I get a little bit of dopamine flowing through my noggin cuz I know it will be a funny distraction for whatever I'm doing for 10 minutes
Yes the album sucks, but Kid Rock is still traumatised from Will Smith assaulting him on stage, which has undoubtedly affected the album's quality. Maybe we should cut him some slack.
@@beaualIoevv This comment isn't even like, an attempt at clout garnering. Chill. Let him do whatever the fuck he wants. It is the comment section. It is meant for comments relevant to the video above it.
There’s a guy in a big truck with a giant flag mounted to the back of it and some antlers on the hood somewhere that’s really upset with you right now, and he’s relying on autocorrect to help him write a really angry Twitter rant to tell you how dumb he thinks you are.
You leftist are so arrogant and elitist. You people claim to be for the working class but you all look down on them as white trash. Tell me what makes you so much better than than the guy you described in your post? Oh and no I'm not a kid rock fan btw.
Rapcore buttrock is one of those genres that deserves to remain buried in the late 90s. Other genres from that period evolved and, arguably, got better. But rapcore buttrock is still the worst of nursery-style rapping and the worst of dad rock combined in terms of actual quality.
This is real music, not the mumble (c)rappers the kids are listening to nowadays. Im a 60 year old man from Alabama who was raised on the red white and blue,so its sad to see all these libtards like that raging against whatever band attacking our god lord and our america,, but kid rock is speaking the real truth🇺🇸🇺🇸respect!!!🔥🔥🔥now if you will excuse me, I think I just broke my back and a few other bones. this must be cancel culture’s fault… EDIT: Since someone mentioned Poe’s Law in these replies, I think I should clarify that this is a joke, and the last line is a pretty obvious indicator of that.
Also this is probably a good time to remind everyone that in 2001, Kid Rock literally bragged about liking minors in a song in the Osmosis Jones soundtrack.
My favorite Kid Rock moment is when he was at the WWE Hall of Fame, looking like Dr. Phil dressing up like Kid Rock. He said "I'm so excited that I could body slam a liberal!" He got booed and started talking about togetherness shortly after
When you have people make music with right wing ideologies in it, you get Kid Rock and Tom Macdonald. When you have people make music with left wing ideologies, you get JPEGMAFIA and Run the Jewels. Im noticing a pattern here.
@@benjaminramsey498 Do you think my comment was made to shit on both parties? No, both Jpegmafia and RTJ are excellent. Im praising music with left wing messages and shitting on music with right wing messages.
@@maxmedina5403 It's trash...but you could also see why it was popular in its day and probably the closest Kid Rock was to mainstream appeal since his "BAWTODABAW" days. It's a rip off of a great song, that's poppy enough if you don't think about can be catchy, and its not political in any real sense so it can be consumed by everyone.
Maaan, I'm still pissed Fantano never tore apart that new Aaron Lewis (Staind) record. For those of you who haven't heard, look up 'Am I the Only One?' It is the purest out of touch boomer pandering song I've ever heard and this review makes me wish Fantano talked about it.
I really liked the Todd in the Shadows coverage at least. At least with Todd, he always has a comedic angle to his song reviews, and it works really well with his approach to Am I The Only One. I don't think there's anything about that guy or his music that warrants/deserves a genuine analysis, so I'm perfectly happy with Fantano dodging it.
the good thing is that you would notice them for their gross appeareance and the stench from a mile away so you'd have a head start in running in the opposite direction
At the store I work at a customer happened to be a kid rock fan. It was late at night, he was the only person in the store. He held me hostage talking about this very album.
Kid Rock leading the creation of the "Trump Music" genre. Smart move business-wise for the same reasons as people release "Christian Music" - there's an installed base who will lap it up regardless of quality or artistic merit out of a sense of tribalism. Just a few cringe inducing bumper sticker level catch phrases and bam! Record sales.
First reaction was, "Oh, he released an album?", And that really says all that needs to be said I think. Hey Kid Rock, if you want to own the libs, they have to know you exist, dude.
Exactly. I only know Kid Rock as the butt of a joke on Whose Line is it Anyway, where one of the cast members thought Kid Rock was a band and not a guy. I imagine other “libs” around my age probably only know him for his recent controversy, which is the only way he knows how to get attention. It’s pathetic.
Devil Without a Cause came out while I was in high school and I remember it being a pretty good album to hotbox your car to while skipping class. Every time I’ve heard a Kid Rock song since then has been increasingly against my will.
I think it also helps all their music that played on the radio was usually the harmless, apolitical stuff about wanting to be a rockstar. Still cringy, but eh it was a pre-ironic time.
Kid Rock grew up in a 5,628 square foot house. It recently sold for over $600,000. He has absolutely nothing on common with his fanbase and simply benefits from stumbling into a niche genre that speaks to the same people who flock to social media echochambers like Parler and Rumble after getting dunked on one too many times.
Have yall seen the Tucker Carlson interview he did with Kid Rock? Carlson said that Rock is "uncancellable." When in reality, he is never gonna be cancel cuz no one cares about what he has to say.
if it was a Taylor Swift album, it would have been a career ender, but considering it's a Kid Rock album, it's just a Kid Rock's 12th full length album
@@TravisHouze They've been posting the same attack helicopter meme for like seven years to dunk on transgender people, and still seem to think it's a real knee-slapper, so I'd wager that the answer is no
@@KattReen well the level of authoritarianism and grooming coming out the trans "activists" combined with their protected status keeps those kind of jokes relevent and one of the few you can make at their expense on social media with out getting banned and censored
It's so sad that Kid Rock desperately wants to get "cancelled" but no one really cares. He isn't even saying controversial stuff, he's just spouting typical Facebook brewed conservative talking points. Kid Rock believes he's triggering libs but it's all in his head. He isn't triggering anyone and looking like the biggest snowflakes in the country.. just whining and complaining about the dumbest things. But get that money, Mr. Rock.. MAGA is gonna eat up this boring crap. Kinda ironic that he's being all bootlicking pro establishment while cosplaying being a "rebel."
You cannot tell me this isn’t parody with a song called ‘Alafuckingbama’ hahahahahaha I’m crying. Right wing ‘art’ is kindergarten level content and I love it
"Damn, Kid Rock looks so cool sitting in that chair dressed lavishly while smoking a badass fat cigar and confidently looking down at the camera through his also very badass shades." - no one ever
Gotta love how kid rock makes a song called don’t tell me how to live yet gets mad at others for just simply living their lives but not how he wants them too.. oh and still drinks bud lite.
The only way to get at Kid Rock is to mock him. Pointing out he's a stupid hypocrite does nothing since people of his political persuasion are completely detached from reality. It's usually kinda sad but Kid Rock has been a racist dumbass since at least the early 2000s
It's actually worse... At a NASCAR event (Because of fucking course), a driver who had just won a race named Brandon was being interviewed and people nearby were chanting Fuck Joe Biden. The interviewer lady said "You can hear them chanting 'Let's Go Brandon'." And it became their rallying cry because... I dunno.
Mr Fantano I have a suggestion -- Instead of making reviews for huge artists who no one in your fanbase enjoys, and roasting them and their lack of artistic for 10 minutes (even though I enjoy it sometimes) You should do one video for the month and just do a rapid fire "it sucks" like YUNOREVIEW and just fly through them. Idk I feel like your time would be better spent on introducing new and underappreciated artists into your audience (which you've been doing for years now) rather than stuff like this Always a fan
When I was in Fallujah I was volunteered to go to the Baghdad Airport to see Kid Rock because I listened to "rock" music... FYI punk music is not rock music... I spent 3 hours on the other side of the airport eating cold apples under a tree because, I would rather have been clearing IEDs than watch a Kid Rock concert.
Every Country singer was to say, "take us back to when country wasn't pop", the proceeds to listen To Dolly Fucking Parton. Nothing wrong but she's absolutely pop country and what started the genre change in general.
Dolly Parton was/is country pop music. thing is she has integrity and is an amazing songwriter and performer. Current day Nashville GQ experiments don't have that and that's why country music sucks so hard (don't get me stated on the outlaw/alt stuff 🤮)
Kid Rock is a revolutionary. He has created a new genre that GOP can use without fear of getting a cease and desist. He is the white surpremacist idea of hip hop in the same way as Trump is the poor man’s idea of a rich man and Putin the weak man’s idea of a strong man.
The warning on the front is actually for him. He will be offended if you disagree with him or are not offended by him or even just react with indifference to him, like most boomers. Anyone who uses the term snowflake is always as fragile and white as snow themselves.
these types of people with their "oh am i TRIGGERING you" are so pathetic. its like the annoying kid at school who doesn't stop bothering people just for attention
