Wow, exactly what ultralight hiker and ski tourer needed. I had the 1000 fillpower microtherm, and actually wanted something warmer. I think this fits the bill very well.
They will probably introduce NEW colors in coming seasons. I think they just went with the WOW factor. I agree tho this shade of green is not for everyone. BUT it's a nice color that is vibrant and warm.
Yo can you show another vid of the cuffs? I got the micro 1000 half off but I’m not huge on the cuffs, little loose. Kinda sounded like the macro cuffs were different or better??
The tightness of the cuffs varies...most have been snug and I believe the micro has the same style of cuff but yes you may have got a jacket where the cuffs were a little loose. This happens sometimes. I'm going to open a "Fresh Green Goblin" opening tomorrow. STAY TUNED!!!!
What's your height and what Size is the Jacket you are wearing? Does the un-adjustable hood seal off draft in windy conditions? Do you have any idea about the down fill weight and the denier of the face fabric?
1020 Fill Power Down. I'm wearing the jacket right now. Hood is fitted and seals off drafts completely. Super light and high lofting... Feels like your wearing nothing .
I know the fill power from the website. But do you know the fill weight (weight of down insulation used) by any chance?. What size are you wearing and what's your height?
@@bcyl3857 not sure of the exact amount but it's a substantial jump.from the Microtherm 1000. This Green Goblin is STUFFED with 1020 down....very light and warm for its weight.
I think they wanted to get a feel for the demand of this piece first before they add sizes and colors .....they should have had a black and Ascent Blue...
1020 FP is insane!! love to see that in 2023 when most brands have dropped their fill power in recent years. disappointed that it only comes in 1 color tho
