Eddie Kingston recently sat down with Kenny McIntosh and he talked about the infamous post Dynamite speech where he fought for his "team", the AEW debut against Cody, THAT Sting GIF, AEW coming to New York and more. every time Eddie opens his mouth you can feel the raw passion and emotion he has with everything even if he's goofin around. Dude means everything he says and is a great lockerroom coach.
This one interview just made me respect ✊ & like Eddie Kingston a lot more than I previously had. Hopefully one day they give him a run with the AEW World Title.
Eddie winning the AEW championship will be like Mick Foley winning the WWF championship. Though I had really hoped he would go on about being shafted by the ref at All Out in his TNT title match and get a rematch. But maybe that's coming now that Sammy has the belt.
The world slept on Eddie Kingston for WAY too long, and now he is proving himself time and again in AEW. I've known about Eddie since ROH vs CZW cage of death, but even I was impressed by his performance with Miro at All Out. I knew he was good, but that was another level. Any time Eddie is in front of a camera, as JR would put it, he maximizes his minutes. He never lets an opportunity go to waste. From that match with Cody, to stealing The Young Bucks shoes and socks with a shit eating grin on his face, to posing with Sting in the ring in Jacksonville, and he is a highlight of the show every single time. Theres a reason he gets the crowd reactions that he does. He will be a worthy AEW champion one day
Eddie is such a real guy. He's been wrestling for a long, long time, he lives for the industry, and AEW gave him the biggest platform to be seen, to perform on a national stage, that he's ever had. And that means they have his dedication and loyalty, to the death. I swear he has to become AEW World Heavyweight Champion at some point. But first things first, for now they should send him to represent the company in the G1 alongside Moxley and Danielson. I want to see him vs Ishii.
Eddie is one of the reasons I started watching wrestling again in 2006 after not watching since the deaths of ECW and WCW, and he’s been one of my favorites ever since. I’m so happy for him these days 👍👍👍
That was stuck in my head sooooo bad. This guy was talking nonsense the other day, and trying to make a bunch of bad points. He said A is this, B is this, C is that. So I told him he can A, B, and C deez nuts.
That's what it is. WWE is taking away people's jobs, and AEW is giving people work. I know what team I'm on. I'm really surprised more WWE fans aren't upset with them in the last couple years.
Kingston has the VISION. He's an active wrestler yeah, but he the mind this man has for the industry almost feels ahead of this time. I love how raw and honest he is about his feelings and reasons for what he does and says. He's someone I'm glad I got introduced to because if AEW, already one of my top guys in the game. The Mad King 👑
I got to see him up close he is a hero to me. I foresee him becoming World champion or tag team champion sooner than later. When he walked in front of me on Dynamite after waiting 18 months, it was awesome. Eddie Kingston is da man!
This guy has no talent except for being able to swing large heavy objects. He can hardly move in the ring for a guy with zero physical prowess and it hinders his selling ability.
Right. John Moxley's partner (main eventing shows), and had a title match vs Miro on the last PPV.... Me thinks he's doing fine. So why are you watching interviews for a jobber? Oh yeah, just another sad dork that wants to find whatever to troll about.
