It would be nice to have a good backstory and objectives or quests to complete besides the basic ones in the demo. I hope it develops into a complete game. I did find a way to avoid the tsunami waves from washing over your base. Press T (for Talk) and type /v 999999 that will despawn the wave for a while. I didn't time it to see how long it delays it but it's nice to avoid that interruption in your gameplay. They did make it easy to pave large sections of the terrain. Press Shift while you click and hold left mouse button and you can drag the paving pieces in a straight line. Once you do that, all you have to do is click and hold the left mouse button on the next sections you want to place. It seems like the sulphur and uranium do respawn after a while so you can collect more than what you find originally. The conveyor placement does need some retooling. I had to place a storage bin in direct line from the forge to keep a straight line and then put the assemblers close or on a 90 degree angle to make the belts tidy and not make those huge sweeping curves that clip thru everything. Good videos on this interesting demo. Keep up the good work!

Much appreciated words there. I kinda felt done with the demo until the Prologue arrives, but your hints there deff gave me the urge to put a few more hours into it. Would be fun to do a proper base with clean straight conveyors, pipes and a full assembly line as now. Regardless I will at least try out the terrain stuff U mention so I know the drills when we get to jump into the prologue. Backstory is definitely needed and a reason to bother setting up an assembly line. Has to be an cause, a demand, something that rewards you so you really want to satisfy any need there is.

@@TedPsycho I've been experimenting with the glass blocks and just messing around lately. If you put a base building in the side of a mountain and go inside, you can face the back wall and build base pieces into the mountain. it beats boring a hole with your hand laser!

Well, final episode of Eden Crafters for now. I know we could spend time to design, build and made the automation perfect. But seeing the Prologue coming in less than 2weeks I rather save that time spent on something else and rather dive deeper into it when the Prologue arrives. If you want us to build something special then or do something in particular, let me know Untill then, enjoy some Planet Crafter 😊
