This is one of the best bang for the buck high end wireless headsets, kudos to Edifier, proud user of that model, fast charging and battery life plus ANC is fully loaded.
does the battery consume when they are wired via USB? i actually use a Phillips PH805 and in order to get the best sound from it i need to turn the battery on even on wired mode. Thanks in advance.
Edifier do provide really good products in the budget realm! I have the W240TN and I very happy with them! They have very nice bass. 👌The W820NB is well rounded Bluetooth headset 👍 thats also great value for sure. Thank you Chris for the genuine feedback as always✌
These headphones are brilliant … 2 pairs and just bought a 3rd pair for my laptop. Great sound, noise cancellation and fast charging - all at a great price
LDAC is included in Android since 8.0, regardless of chipset. Though it depends on the OS developer to enable during build. Just thought to point that out.
Looks to me like a Sony 1000XM4-ish with a bit of Sony XB910N. It feels like a Sony on a budget, with a few hiccups here and there. About the low volume, (may not work for all devices) I tried this in the Edifier W800BT Plus tick "Disable Absolute Volume" setting so the device can be controlled independently. In most Xiaomi/Poco phones, changing region to US/Singapore does help as well. For latency issues, SBC is a way to go but less quality or LDAC to LDAC (Only Sony's) Not sure why, but to me, Edifier's seems like it's a bit of a delay even in their speakers. In M201BT, I could mitigate this by pairing them again or, once connected, turn the bluetooth off of the device while the media is playing, then let it reconnect it again to the Edifier device or vice versa. It works for me, little to no latency. A bit of a chore but, could help 😄 edit: _corrections_
They started to irritate on my ears immediately. There's a protector knob over the driver which touched my ear, and the cushions just didn't feel comfortable. I am used to the Bose QC 35 I, so they new one has to stand up against that. Those were really comfortable. The moment you put them on your head, it feels like a treat.
I miss my beyerdynamic but they’re ridiculously expensive in Thailand. This brand is available for much cheaper and sometimes local musicians sayd they’re good. Have to try them instead of paying almost 700 $ for lnown western brands
Was hoping that “1 reply” was a “yes”! LOL! 😂 I guess I have no choice but to try it and I’ll let you guys know. Or if you already did try it since it’s been a month since the last reply, I’d appreciate if you can let us know if it does work. Thank you!
@scorpiaaazzz9220 I tried. No sound comes out of the headphone. It’s being recognized by my Android phone and my laptop as a headset as the icon appears on my phone and it appears as one of the option for speakers/audio out device, but when selected (on my laptop), I can’t hear anything. So, yeah, it doesn’t work with type c to 3.5mm adapter. 😕
Great video. Thanks. However, you speak of 60 €. At Amazon Germany, where it's been on my watch list for a month, it costs €80. For 60€ I would strike immediately.
last time i bought edifier w820nb plus,i was disappointed because of the volume,it was quite low compared to same priced headphones like anker soundcore life q20+,now i'm planning to buy the edifier w950nb,does this headphone has the same "low volume" issue like edifier w820nb plus??
how do these perform when connected to PC via bluetooth? I'm guessing LDAC doesn't apply for PC? I'm considering getting them for my gaming sessions because I'm not interested in gaming headsets.
I got these recently and the ANC does absolutely nothing -- I have no idea if it's user error or what, but I even did a replacement via Amazon and they aren't any different. I have earplugs that reduce noise by 18 dB and they work far better than these headphones, which is super confusing. Do you know if there's a potential for user error? I don't know what I'm doing wrong to turn on ANC (I have the Edifier connect app and everything).
is it possible to use the earpads of the plus version on the non-plus version??? I'm planning to replace the earpads of my W820NB and i wanna know if it fits or not
Hej Chris there is a new soundcore liberty 4 nc with anc 2.0 for pre-order for only 65 euro , the regular price will be about 90 euro, they sound promising , and delivery is end of june , it would be great if you can test those tws earbuds,.. big hello from austria
Has the ANC improved over the orevious model 820NB? I have this old model and woikd like to know if its worth upgrading the the new plus model, and is there anything close in this price range?
The reason why they dont make them louder is because they want consumers to use these with ANC turned ON always...thats what I presume. But if they are not loud enough even with ANC turned on then its surely a red flag...
take Sony, bass and excellent noise reduction are important to you, if you care more about balanced, almost monitor-like sound, and not the worst noise reduction (but clearly worse than Sony, but not so much pressure) then take 820 plus
anyone know what these headphones are like compared to something like an old pair of Bose QC35? i wonder if the march of technology means that cheaper stuff is better than expensive stuff of old?
It squeekes terrible. Needed superglue to fix that. And it doesn't store settings in the headphone! Major flaw! I have fw 1.0.1 and find the mids too much. Had to eq them down 3 dB. But for the money it is ok.
@@Techtablets Will you review the QCY h4, I know some people say they are better than the edifer W820NB plus in sound quality, build quality and anc.A bit more obsecure headphone, that just released this month like the space ones. But I think their worth the hype cuz no one reviewed them except korean reviewers yet. available on banggood only though.
Can somebody confirm if the bands on these aren't too thin. I just had a Baseus H1 and the plastic band cracked because it was just too thin and I've just used it for 2 straight months. I'm currently looking for a more durable replacement. I hope someone can give an answer or at least suggest a more durable budget option. 😢
Baseus H1 is shit, I only use it for a few days and then never used it again. So uncomfortable, my ears feel hurt and hot after wearing it for a long time. Maybe is problem of battery 😅
Why would you need active noise on if those are earmuffs covering your whole entire ear shouldn't be able to hear anything right or are you trying to hear something around you oh I understand now
The purpose of the ANC is to hear less specific noises thats annoy us I use ANC sometimes even without music to calm down(I use Bose qc35 ii and Sony xm3) but I'm bipolar...
@@oror3751 I like the simple fact that it last was a long time My beats pro 8 hours but the Samsung version of their own garbage only 4 hours but with the ones that you're describing will you be able to hear your notification and if so I would purchase it that's the reason why I use the Samsung version
Just bought this today really dissapointing the sound is very very low not recommedable I always play music in high vol so that I wont hear anything outside and feel the music but so dissapointing its volume is soo low like lowest of lower and the headphone is not good when always wears it heat up my ear really dissapointing that its volume soo low everything is perfect but volume low is biggest fact I will still use my $5 headphone that makes high volume cant believe this is $55 with very low volume :
@@Techtablets I just ordered the H1i, 40 mm driver, etc. similar specs. Too good of an offer for USD 40 at this moment, even though the ANC might be not as good. They advertise LHDC with lower latency.
