I have a doubt sir...it is said that if dielectric is not present in between two plates then they will attract each other and comes in contact to each other ...then what is the role of air as dielectric??Why we are taking air as dielectric ??

7:19 sir if we use conductor at the place of dielectric then Einside will be even more .... and hence E net will be lesser....and as E is less, potential difference will also be lesser......thus increasing capacitance even more???? Pls replyy!!!!!

If we use a conductor instead of a dielectric , the capacitance will be infinite.... Because we know that dielectric constant for a conductor is infinite hence capacitance will be infinite.... The circuit will become continuously conducting....hence no charge would be stored.... Nd we know the work of a capacitor is to store charge....if charge would not be stored... There would be no use of it

If we place conductor in between two plates then net electric field will be zero and then you will not be able to store charge ..okay
