It set the rates according to the manual. Finally got the seats cut a bit so now my runcam will fit nicely. Should have videos up shortly.

yeah its a very nice plane just watch the prop its one of the sharpest.

@@DronemanJoeRc haha school boy error!!!!! It got you good and proper. Will you be flying the cirrus yourself Joe? I’m still flying the apprentice sts but have only got to intermediate mode so far. I was wondering if I would be ready for the cirrus yet as this has flaps and isn’t exactly a high wing trainer. Also I only have the DX6 and I’m not sure if this is capable of flying the cirrus? Does it have enough channels?

this is all about comfort. This is a easy plane to fly I flew a friends a few times. Honestly the only time I really use flaps is when I take off, not so much on landing. I would go with the T28 1.2m next its one of my favs Its prob just as easy as the sts.

its not a first plane I would start with the sts apprentice trainer from horizon hobby 1st. I have many vids up on that bird.

Yes I normally do that test without the props but these things happen to everyone. I haven't flown it yet but if I was to say on that size battery prop around 5mins. as far as the wheel size I dont know bc they are in the wheel cowell. @@DronemanJoeRc Hi Jo, yeah I was told to just add the template instead and everything was different to what the manual says. So I set it up like you did👍🏻 I just got back from 10 days in Cornwall, I went back to port Isaac again for the day. Very nice, the docs house has been sold now for £1million. 👍🏻

You can use any 6 channel trans. I currently using a Spektrum NX8 and its a great trans and I would suggest getting one. Thanks for watching bud any other questions let me know.

@@DronemanJoeRc I've looked at the spektrum but it's a little expensive. This is my first time flying and I got the plane at a bin store for $8 bucks but I'm treating it as if I paid $300 I just need a transmitter that's not too expensive. What other ones I can use?

That’s good. I’d just like to see some manufacturer in this industry really set the gold standard. But it seems they all have their own unique issues where quality control is concerned.
