I make something like this with five egg yolks, two cups of heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a bit of monkfruit sweetener. It's a total fat bomb, and so, so good. It's the same recipe as creme brulee, just without the sugar crust.
I made this for the first time today. I used 3 eggs coffee/cream and a touch of vanilla. Cooked it and topped it with pumpkin pie spice and butter. Omg it tasted like morning oatmeal. It was fantastic!

just made the coffee egg pudding, FABULOUS ! added little more coffee flavor, salt, pepper and little cream to up the fat but kept the amount of liquid equal to the volume of the 3 eggs i used. i'm sure it could be made sweet with fake sugar. what a wonderful find. thank you so much.
I tried both of these, and they were awesome! I then experimented using goats curd as you would with yogurt. I used 4 eggs, a dollop of soft goats curd, and a little water. It is soooo good!
I just made the egg pudding with one whopping tablespoon of sour cream. Sprinkled cinnamon. That was good. Now I am going to make coffee egg pudding with Costco Vanilla Nut Coffee.

I love it and makes me feel good to succeed at a new dish. I added water-diluted unsweetened vanilla almond milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, butter and couple drops of honey on part of it so I could try sweet versus unsweet. I got my ideas from other commenters. Thank you for this recipe, love it!
Bella, I don't have Instagram, so I can't post & tag you, but I finally made your egg pudding! I decided to make it using Lonolife chicken bone broth, which I think is why it fluffed-up, but it seems to jiggle just like yours, so... I used a regular pot on the stove, and 4 mins barely got a skin started, so I did it for 4 more. Btw... couldn't find a normal small metal bowl, so I bought a flat-bottomed dog bowl! Worked great! Lol.

I have had it now plain with water, some heavy whipping cream and monkfruit sweetener, I've had it with CHEAT ALERT Whipped Cream and Liquid stevia, and OMG its all been heavenly! Thanks Bella! Tried the coffee egg pudding - put 2 shots of espresso with 3 eggs - was too strong of a coffee flavor by itself but was outstanding with sweetened heavy whipping cream on top - you can try with unsweetened cream if you don’t use sweeteners.
I just made kefir cream and then put it in a food processor and made butter. Its light and creamy and delicious 🤤 😋 and I also just amended your recipe with the egg pudding I added a generous TBSP of cream with the Greek yoghurt 👍

To keep from burning your darling hands when adding to and removing from the bowl the boiling water, use tongs around which you’ve wrapped rubber bands on the tips, several rows of rubber bands, and they will grip the bowl while you lower it. You can also find silicone-tipped tongs that will grip without the rubber bands.
Made egg pudding (1/2 cream-1/2 water for the liquid) I added real organic vanilla and sprinkled it with nutmeg. More dessert-like feeling without sugar.
Hâve you tried making the pudding with both coffee and yogurt? I think it would be awesome. All the lightness and cloudiness of the yogurt combined with the coffee flavor. Def going to try this week 😋
I literally just cooked coffee yogurt egg pudding. Amazing! I am not a big fan of Flan, which the regular egg pudding totally reminds me of. The addition of the yogurt does make it creamier, more like a custard.
I made mine with heavy cream and whole milk. I added cardamom. It was really good, but was even better with butter on it. This video really opens up the possibilities. Looking forward to experimenting.

The sound was shockingly ill-mannered IMO, so I assumed it was cultural. Everything is relative right? They even burped. Americans are raised to think ALL mouth sounds during eating are rude.

Tried coffee egg pudding this a.m. i added butter and alittle pink salt omg! Ok i love, love this one and this is only my 2nd bowl of egg pudding 1st was a water one last night again added butter in the end my granddaughter saw your little brother eating it last night so i will go to store today and hunt amino acid instead of soy sauce and try the sesame oil for her . she said if he likes it that much it has to be YUM! Wow thank you Lovely, I love the coffee egg pudding, it’s my first time to try this pudding. But I change your recipe. I used 118 g of eggs ( 2 large ) , 88 g brewed coffee, 30 g heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and I top it with my melted brown butter. I really love it very complex flavour.

I just did this in my pressure cooker and yum! Silky, melt in your mouth coffee heaven! Gnashing teeth waiting for this delicious-ness to cool down. Fragrant with pumpkin pie spices and almost half a stick of butter. Interesting turned into "Thank You Bella!"
I made the egg pudding first coat the bowl with butter it helps with sicking. I put in a Tbsp of cocao powder and 1 Tbsp of swerve with the other ingerdients. It was a nice dessert!
I've been studying chinese for 5 years now and no chinese friend of mine had ever introduced me to egg pudding. Im so glad I came across your videos because now it's like one of my favourite comfort foods on a really cold winter day. I sometimes make it with broth/minced pork/soy sauce or I put vanilla pods and cocoa powder in it to turn it into a dessert. Such a nutritious filling versatile dish.
I bought some Capella flavor drops to do more experimenting with my egg puddings. Dr Lisa Wiedeman did a version of pumpkin pie custard based on this. Today I used eggs, milk, apple, caramel and butter cream flavor drops, a dash of salt and a couple drops of monk fruit, with a pinch of cinnamon on top. It was delicious.
