One of my favorite Sajoinji moments in the show, just him... randomly hanging out in the middle of the woods cooking eggs because he just.. feels like it. Probably gonna write about in his diary no one cares about too.
Can you really call him the sane one when he's the one who went out in the middle of the night so that he could fry dozens of eggs one-by-one in the middle of the forest?
@@DylanYoshi actually yes. When your choices on where to cook eggs are middle of a empty forest or Ohtori Academy, where a witch and a long forgotten prince spy on your every move and ruin every moment that make you feel good, in an effort to keep you inside a sadistic game, that the prince draws cruel enjoyment from.... always pick the empty forest
Lol sayonji giving an opinion on what to say. Hes the kind of person i wouldnt be embarassed to say anything in front of because his opinion of me does not matter in the slightest
gotta back Sarako33-io on this it was meant to be a menstruation thing. From what I've gathered (still not 100% on everything) but most people tend to agree the whole show at least to a degree is meant to lighting the step of adolescents where you leave behind your childhood and begin walking into the adult one. That plus how authoritarian systems with preset rules control the aimless as paralleled through the school duels for the rosebride all conducted and coordinateed unseen by the "chairman"
I think both interpretations make sense. Menstruation and sex both are seen as part of growing up societally, and come with a lot of anxiety for both. Menstruation makes sense since it's an egg and feels in line with her character, while the sexual aspect makes the whole "do you want a boy or a girl" thing and the fact she feels both like she'll be made fun of for having it and made fun of for getting it so late. Her protectiveness of the egg and this frying thing makes more sense if you treat it as a baby too idk.
Sure is easy to forget that even the otherwise devious and butt-monkeyed Saionji has his own private life moments not even connected to the End of the World nonsense surrounded Ohtori Academy. And also the fact that Nanami Kiryuu is one heck of a fighter. Girl's spoiled and sad, but she ain't always hopeless.
Well since colonial agriculture and also the chicks that hatch also get thrown in alive into bl*des and turned into nuggets as long as you pay for them?
