You Pete thorn never disappoint, these effects are clean sounding nothing artificial about em,sounds like they boost or distort without overpowering.

I have no idea why this pedal hasnt gotten more praise. The clean boost and the drive are both great. It really is like playing my amp. Great review Pete!

Pete, your playing is SO good man, you're definitely at a higher level than 90% of guys out there. Very inspirational. I use an Egnater Renegade amp and absolutely love it. This pedal has a lot of the same switches as the amp. This is one pedal I am going to check out, sounds awesome.

Hey Pete, I have a couple of Tweaker amps that I love. some of the features on the goldsmith are also part of the Tweaker controls. Watching your video turned me on to what the tight setting does. I run a Rocktron Utopia G100. The tight setting takes the Utopia to a new level clarity that I wasn't getting in all of my settings. Thanks for the explanation about what the tight setting does. It really helped my sound. I also love your playing and your positive attitude about music in general. rock on.

A very very useful pedal. Can be used for touch sensitive blues overdrive to full on hard rock and metal. Highly recommended.

Killer juicy tone!! Seems perfect for a Plexi if you want some tight, natural sounding gain! Wonder how it would do into a 2203/4 - with the tightness engaged!? Also, I think I had Egnater Goldsmith over for Rosh Hashanah dinner last year!

Yet another excellent demo! Everything you demo seems to sound great. I suspect a big part of that is the fact that you're a great player, but it makes me wonder if you ever get a piece of gear that you don't like or are disappointed by.

Well, Pete...you demoed this pedal so well...with crazy incredible tone, that I just have to get one of these. Of course, your playing is impeccable and much of any tone comes directly from the player...so my pedal won't have as good a sound as what's on this video;)

Hey Pete, I noticed that you had the volume on the OD side on the pedal nearly maxed for most of this demo. Is unity gain really past or around the 3 o'clock mark on the Goldsmith OD side?

Pete really enjoy your videos, you really do great job demoing the pedals. Would love for you to start demoing more amps. I know you are endorsed by Suhr, but it would help guys like me that are looking for high end amps like Friedman amps to get a taste before having to drive six or seven hours to play through these amps. I trust your reviews....

I bought an Egnater Rebel-20 a few months ago and it's replaced both my other amps (a Vox VT-50 and a Carlsbro EVO 50), the Egnater sounds far far better, I didn't even know that they did pedals lol. Do Egnater have an alternative to the MXR carbon Copy?

Great demo. The Egnater stuff always seemed to lack sustain for me andid a little noisy in the high frequencies, its great flexibility if you want to play with a newer sound and be able to play old stuff.
