I don’t know nearly enough about x bows…but what is your recommendation for brand, power, tactical use ability and cost ( lots to choose from…for now).???

So This means the Adder will soon get a 90lb prod ( which it probably should have had from the start ) I assume ? It'll be iintersting to see if it feels a bit safer with that, and how it compares to your other pistol Xbows. And it will also be interesting to see how the R9 with the 130lb prod does against your 150lb Jaguar. Lot's of vids on those subjects to come no doubt !

Cheers Zed, i will swap the prods over soon, still never got round to it! and as you say plenty of tests coming, btw your book will be in the post soon, i have it ready packaged, but got a cold right now so will be a few days till i go out and post it (this is actually a video i recorded ages ago and never uploaded)

Nice bit of kit mike , the crossbow looks solid and really decent, also the string coming fitted is a good thing as some people struggle with that and to top it all off the sling is a good addition 👌

Quick heads-up. Be careful how hard you pull the pins out. I accidentally pulled the prod pin right out because it was stuck, and a small ball bearing dropped out. To replace, you must remove the small Allen grub screw and spring underneath it. Put the pin back in, drop in the ball down the grub screw hole, drop in the spring, then the grub screw. Easy, but what a fu..ing mission figuring it out.

Its nice but it is full size, now the fma supersonic i had, i seen theres a magazine fed tactical version, sold in germany, what would your opinion of that be?

Just seen your assembly video - very helpful thank you. Just one small point. Please could you use better lighting if you're doing another one as the black crossbow and the bits you are adjusting etc tend to be a bit lost.

So you can shoot normal crossbow arrows with it ?

That red dot, i just spotted it as soon as it came out the box, don't use it, i have the same one here, i paid about 8 quid for it, it's not the same one as in the pictures on the adder, but it's not important, nice crossbow, would you recommend it, over say the redback, or the fma supersonic?

yeah, its a crap red dot mate, i use the open sights on this one anyway. as for a recommendation - it depends what you want, this is marketed as a pistol, its NO pistol, its as a big as a full size jaguar crossbow, for a pistol or small carbine i''d get the redback with all the accessories you can find, for a full size crossbow i'd get this.
