My aunt was super fan of Juan Gabriel, she went to may of his concerts. She often told me he improvised a lot and that some of his concerts will last hours. Also, when I was learning violin in the juvenile philharmonic in my state back in Mexico. My teacher mentioned that some of the people she knew that had played with him were actually a little nervous every time they went on stage. Since he will do things that they didn’t practice quite often. My respect to the orchestra/band directors who played with Juan Gabriel throughout his career, they have to fallow his lead and make sure all the musicians and choirs were in sync. His band and him made magic together

Estuvieron de invitados muchos artistas y músicos asi como mucha prensa, fue un evento privado. Tienes toda la razón en decir que no había preparación previa en ciertos partes de sus conciertos pues hay documentos o videos donde Juan Gabriel les cambia el tono en la misma canción o incluso les cambia la canción de una frase a otra y tanto los músicos como los coristas tenían que estar al pendiente del él para hacer los cambios convenientes en el momento preciso. Bien lo dices, un maestro en toda la extensión de la palabra y además guapísimo. Saludos de la Cd de México 🖐🖐🖐
He was very spontaneous, he never practiced before his performances, he was absolutely the lead in all of his concerts. He added his personal touches in every one of his shows, that is why people loved him. never ceased to amaze his audiences. All of his concerts were always a total sell out, cause you just knew that you were going to experience a show of a lifetime! His legend will live on forever!
