I always admire Aynur, she is ageless and a devoted fighter for her traditions. A true rite performance!!! Thank you for offering here this concert to us!
This is an extraordinary encounter that unites two unique Kurdish talents. Through sheer individual efforts, they have not only managed to convey the voice of the Kurdish people across the globe but also showcased the people's exceptional ability to innovate, even under the most challenging circumstances. Hun her bijîn! Serkeftin!
My friend, are you here to enjoy music or deal with ethnic identity crisis? One is Iranian, and the other is Turkish Kurd, and they're making great music. Let's not spoil that with ethnic identity issues!
Ji bo pesindayînê li peyvekê digerim lê peyvê nabînim. Berhemê dest û tiliyên te yên zêrîn li gerdûna me û li tevaya xweristê her zindî bimîne, Keyhan Kelhorî. Her bijî Kurd, her hebî Kurdistan..
Thank you so much for this concert! My Kurdish husband was completely carried away by this wonderful, unique east-western cooperation and all the lovely artists.🤗
I was so happy to see the concert had been recorded. Congratulations to everyone. Even through a screen and hours away from the live concert, it gives you chills and a state of awe.
On Saturday the 20th of July 2024 at Alexander theatre in Monash University Melbourne. I had the great privilege of witnessing the performance of Kayhan Kalhor and the renowned Turkish musician Erdal Erzincan, this experience was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. This performance demonstrated virtuosity at a level I have never seen before, the level of mastery by Kayhan Kalhor and Erdal Erzincan of both their respective instruments and understanding of harmony to improvise with another musician for more than 90 minutes is magnolias. From the way they utilised every component of their instrument to the emotional complexity of the music, I still sit here in awe of that performance; I truly believe that Kayhan Kalhor and Erdal Erzincan serve as a powerful motivation to aspiring musicians and are one of the greatest musicians to ever grace planet earth.
What I don’t understand why this is mixed w jazz instruments! Kurdish music is so beautiful when plays w all original instruments,,, I am trying understand the combination, but jazz is jazz not Kurdish. I am glad ppl enjoyed it yet is due not knowing Kurdish music and the very different totally different instruments than JAZZ which is so so western. I understand the creativity of it but Kurdish folk and traditional songs which she sings is better played in its own original art
Hepsinin atası kamanchedir Karadenizde çalınan kemençe ve kabak kemanede dahil kamanchenin türleridir kemençeyi rumlar getirmiştir.zaten Karadeniz çoğu pontus rumu asillidir kemençe ordan geliyor Atina da bile kemençe kültürü var çünkü pontus Rumlardan almışlar kabak kemaneyi kim getirdi bilmiyorum ama onun da atası kamanchedir.bide mardin taraflarinda çalınan kemençeye benzeyen rebab diye Kürtlerin bir enstrümani var onun da atası kamanchedir.
Kurdistan Kurdistan.....why Kurdistan?!! Playing Iranian culture music by an Iranian Kurd. Kurds outside of Iran should leave their crazy chauvinism and learn from these Iranian Kurds.
Love from Iran for Great People of Germany that welcoming and promoting all culture, in particular Iranian Native Music or Persian Folkloric Music 🍀🥊🍀🥊🍀🥊
