Chase if you get the bloody finger and the recusant finger and use each other to look for a queue, it's quicker than deactivating recusant finger and using it again
@@zaboomba6635 activating one deactivates the other automatically, same as putting down a gold/red summon sign and activating a Furlcalling Finger Remedy to *LOOK* for gold/red summon signs

re: bestial vitality iirc it overwrites the wondrous physick regen and i think it's 5hp/s vs 7hp/s but I'd double check, nice to be able to use it more than once tho :)
Thats true. Erdtree blessing also grants regen at 8hp/s i believe, so if you have the faith (like chase did in this stream) it might be worth it to sacrifice a spell slot for erdtree blessing, and put another tear in your flask.
FP wise, Vigor is more FP efficient, and Erdtree is both more overall and faster but more expensive per point of healing. So, trade off there. Could always bring both though.
Sl80 invasions have been so fun. Invasion areas are from caleid, the town of sorcery, altus plateau and volcano manor plus the capital.. then add all the dungeons..
You will also find instant invasions in the lakes, my favorite pvp spot is the bonfire to the right of rose church and at the bonfire next to the guy that cooks and sells shrimps. Ive been able to get instant invasions on my lvl 70, 80, 90, 100, and 125 characters. Its a GREAT spot if you use lighting on any of your weapons but if you are using flame art of fire i would suggest switching to cold or holy while in the lakes since the water will increase your fire resistance while decreasing your electric resistance
And he can be unforgiving if you miss a parry or roll during his sequence.. Luckily for me I only had to fight him half a dozen times for it to drop. Some people have also claimed that the halberd wielding night with the two wolves also drops it, but I stopped farming him after 30 times and an inventory full of halberds 😅
Ahh I had a hankering for some invasions from this guy he makes me wanna start pvp fr. His attitude towards the game is so refreshing he just has fun. So this three hour stream is just what I need
You dont need a lot of mind as a melee focused build, if you are a caster lower the stamina as you wont be carrying the heaviest swords in the game and dont need high poise for sword trades. Then boom you have 20-30 mind depending on how you allocate your other stats.
One of the things that was killing me while watching this was how he didn't use any of the buffs like Flame Grant me Strength which stacks multiplicly with Golden Vow. Stack with a wondrous flask fire damage boost and your damage will skyrocket with STR and fire scaling. That's where a lot of the power of the build comes from for weapon and elemental combat.
I honestly prefer R1 spam to L2 spam, it might just be me but i think DS3 pvp was better int a lot of ways, like now there are barely any things to combo with, backstabs are almost gone, parries are useless because nobody ever swings their weapon. And after all that, what is left is Greatshields that are near impossible to punish or guard break, and a flood of dragon rot breath and mage spell spam.
DS3 pvp is definitely better. No doubt in my mind. I can still have fun with Elden Ring because of the sheer variety of builds, weapons and Ashes of war. But objectively ds3 is better. Pvp wise.

@@ltlsWhatltIs Nah if you enjoy it, enjoy it man. Nothing wrong with that. I fo think it's bad just DS3 was balanced and took far more skill. Weapon arts were tools for the most part not one or two shot moves to spam over and over again because they cost so little FP.
@In The Beginning yeah don't get me wrong i really like the game pvp also, but it is certainly a bit weird pvp wise at the moment, and im not sure it can all be fixed with some balance changes, but i think it can be improved. Some damage reduction on wa, and perhaps increase FP usage. But i don't think the combo part will change. And backstabs could be sightly tweaked i guess but i doubt it will happen.
Frankly what surprises me more than the starlight shard usage is the fact that I've seen that Tohru individual spam a hundred bestial slings but barely ever the halo scythe's weapon art, which would have been the far more effective thing to spam.
I waited 2 hours 35 minutes and 39 seconds to finally watch him use the Ciper Pata special... thank God haha. I run a 80 faith prophet with original 11/10 str/dex. I only use +10 Pata and rushed it start of a new game. Has taken me to end game primarily with the L2 also by bosses. Hitting 1500+ repeated and never blockable. It's only Holy/Crit but it's just a fun build with a Erdtree Seal in the other hand. Sometimes fast dual wield cipher and sometimes casting incantations. Most interactive pure faith build. (Rest of stats are just Vigor and Endurance plus some mind)
@chasethebro you are might be farming the wrong guys like I did. I farmed for two hours and got nothing... You have to farm the ones that have the flame activated. I spawn at the temple and go up the elevator. Turn around south and kill one, run north kill the other. Now either respawn or you can drop into the lava and kill the other two
Have you used the nox flowing hammer? assuming it does good enough damage when upgraded it seems pretty damn good. Also im not sure about damage but iirc the damage perfume scales with dex and can be lightning fast. Im planning on doing a profile with just ranged stuff in pve excluding killing animals for bones partially because of it.
dragon breath is elemental damage but it still scales your stats with faith and arcane, the fact is that each of the dragons you kill will have their own unique ability and do greater damage than the original but it has a long time to cast it for good reason. The fastest cast for the dragon is the dragon claw, useful for small AoE but terrible at hitting the target when you needed it the most before the enemy roll under you or aside you in the back as you get a butt stabbed. The best way to have an actual dragon build is distance and control sort of like a mage but you can do it personally close up and it does massive damage if you focus on arcane and faith build. You have to "throw out" the best melee weapons from the melee which they won't do well with your "arcane" that much, the best weapon do well with the arcane is found in that swamp area with a billhook or one thous swap ppl water look like a frog the same time which you want their polearm which they are scaled in arcane weapon (it can scale to be a S scaling when upgrading) and getting that weapon is mega pain the rear that will drive you crazy getting it for a while but it has massive uses which it is base on arcane user straight up as this weapon is called "Ripple Crescent Halberd". If you need a fun weapon to play around with, there is that weapon called "Regalia of Eochaid" for that sword will scale up on arcane as well but not that great, there is a weapon called "Bloody Helice" also scale of the arcane, Morgott's curse sword does, Serpent bow do scale of arcane, Dragon communion seal do scale of arcane, that is pretty much it for I know cold does but not so well. At the time being, dragon build is fun and all but not perfect for pvp.
Best sleep build is using the albinauric halberd with sleep grease. 1 shot (sometimes 2) will sleep at 80 arcane. And if you dual wield them every jump attack is guaranteed sleep stagger. It’s pretty dumb in pve. As you can make them blood weapons and apply grease to them, or poison or frost. So you can run a multi elemental build on and S scaling double halberd build. It’s stupid lol
@@imhulki463 the ripple crescent halberd. If you make it frost or poison or bleed you can still apply sleep grease. You could as of 4.0. I’m not sure after that. But I’m pretty positive it hasn’t changed

@@ChidiGaming I agree and disagree. Because some of the weapons are nearly unusable while others, like the moinveil, are insanely powerful. While pvp shouldn't be the only thing focused on, neither should pve due to the others existence. Somethings will always be imbalanced, however toning things down a little could help a lot. Like the rotten breath incantation is unbarable in pvp and insane in pve

Indeed! i have a whole dex build dedicated to lightning. You can still use lightning ashes of war and choose a different infusions, such as i did here with sacred infusions on the lightning ashes of war
Noticed the dual reapers are very similar with dual halberds moveset. Though they have very different hotboxes from what I have tried with sychtes still having the critical range while halberd second attack comes out a bit faster
@@rockinHurley777 reapers/sycth moveset one handed is very different to halberds but once power stanced they share the same moveset. Reapers isnwhat the sycth weapon catagory is called for some reason.
Chase will you make a Night King build? Alot of options to make a good one. You can summon skellys tons of frost weapons and spells and there's even an emote that will go along with it. Rapture makes your character slowly raise his arms up
Is it possible to put your character stats in the stream's description (maybe add "stats in the description" at the end of the stream title)? During your streams a lot of viewers ask for them. Having them in the description would make things a lot easier - also for us who like to answer questions in your streams :)
For the tower glitch what they should do is make it where once you've activated the chest and acquired the memory stone the block on the door needs to disappear and that would fix that glitch for the most part.
Winged scythe right hand, Halo scythe left hand. This way you can use Angel's Wings ash of war and have good dual wield scythe moveset. Jumping L1 and rolling L1 (and crouching L1) are quite fast and have ok damage and running L1 is a two hitter and has wierd timing to roll through. Lot's of options for quick or slow attacks. Normal L1 is a bit slow but akward to parry. SSythe or great scythe with bloodhound step or even phantom slash are good options for right handers...
what do you think Chase about doing some sort of anti-magic build? like use some magic absorption equipment, silence incantations or magic barriers? just to see wizards panic :)
Not sure if they patched it but I heard Carian Retaliation is OP. Plus there's the gold shield that absorbs spells and fires Holy mortar shells back at enemies. But honestly the best anti-wizard build I've found is the one I learned from Chase, if they try to cast run up and hit them with a big bonk. Almost 1 shot a wizard with a jumping attack the other day using Blasphemous Blade. Chunked 1200 instantly, then they tried to heal and I used the Ash of War, which was a 1 shot
@@thekaz5225 they haven't patched it but it's actually glitched and it's a little unfair to use in pvp. The glintstone blades don't animate in online play, so they're basically invisible insta kill knives.
BoG is kind of absurd, I get like 80+ magic absorption though I can get like 65ish with the PotE one so it's situationally worth it if you know you're fighting an Int build. This also stacks with Golden Vow so you get extra damage and absurd absorption. Plus I'm more of a co-oper so it buffs the party as well, I believe they last 60 seconds like DS3 buffs but I'm not 100% sure on that off-hand
@@vaytox6394 I play on PS4 and I've yet to see them animate properly when other players use it online. Maybe you aren't having a problem, but it's certainly not the case for everyone

What sword is the leyndell solider using at 1:30:15? He puts royal knights resolve on it and then does a charging thrust attack. That would be sweet. It looks like the Astora Greatsword from DS3
3:25:00 You mentioned that Carian Retaliation sucks cuz it does ridiculous damage even if you use it as intended, you can use a less leveled shield with it than other weapons you use, IE if you use +17 weapons, instead of a +17 shield, use a +7 shield and the damage won't be AS overpowered as others use it, but if you use a +24 shield it easily gets +2000 on players, about 800 per sword You can still get some use out of it if you use it fairly, the issue is the desync causing it to look like you forever are defended by them and warding off would be attackers because they don't know if it's death or glitch (not meaning that the damage isn't the BIG issue because it really is, just that it is manageable to be fair if you want it)
What was your starting class? What is the best PVP starting class two try some builds out? (beside wretch or is this a must be?) I would love to see some kind of ripost build!
Every starting class is viable, but if you want sorcery go astrologer. Faith would be prophet or confessor, etc. You can respec up to 14 times IIRC in one playthrough without going to NG+ so you can change your stats to suit any build as needed. Even easier, just backup an endgame save with a variety of weapons and spells with a stock of smithing stones and larval tears to reload as needed.
So is there a way you can quick swap weapons like this on console? Ik you can hold like 3 weapons on each hand but just curious if there is a quick switch thing like this on console
