I saw this on Adult Swim one night and I died laughing.

You hear "You don't wanna have Too Many Cooks" all the time when you're making cartoons, films, games, and entertainment. The idea is that if you have too many writers, producers, and artists then your idea become over-written, over-complicated, impossible to finish and non-cohesive.

The ending is hilarious..."honey I'm ho-" TO BE CONTINUED

I love seeing the ways comedy has changed throughout the years. My generation more and more likes comedy that just makes no sense, maybe because we’re increasingly aware that our reality doesn’t make sense. We like things that are funny just for the sake of being funny. But older generations have to have have comedy represent something or be relatable, or they need to make sense of something that’s not intended to be rationalized.

That one woman wouldn't watch Too Many Cooks, but she'd watch Metalocalypse...

My theory to the meaning of Too Many Cooks (note: watch the full video for some of these references): It's a parody of how intros to older sitcoms and cop shows (mostly from the 80s and 90s) looked and sounded the exact same. However, there is more to it. It is possible that it is also a satire of television network interference when it comes to what shows stay and go. Notice that the murderer only kills characters that do not follow the same format as the family sitcom and police procedural shows (the richer people, the superheroes, and the college girls). The space adventure show is the only one that seems to put up an actual fight, which explains why they aren't killed off so quickly. People gave it high ratings, so the networks weren't quick to cancel it. Whenever a character is murdered, it could be a symbol for them being "cancelled," which is usual when it comes to networks and new TV shows. Also, look at the shows that are introduced in the beginning. The killer is there, but he's just watching, not doing anything. It's like the network is watching to make sure that they are following the formula, not straying into anything that could lose ratings.

This was my first real exposure to "Too Many Cooks" and I couldn't stop laughing. To the writers and director, you are true geniuses.

I remember waking up to this in second grade and was getting really anxious because when I thought it ended, it didn’t.

I was asleep, I woke up and this on this premiere, it got my attention and I started watching it, I swear I thought I was on acid.

(EDIT: Please upvote if you agree) 1) It would be nice to see how they react to the flood of information and references to unexplained information in the intro to skyrim, as well as the execution at thebegining. 2) I'd also want to see what they'd do when left alone somewhere in skyrim, with no direct goal like "ho this way" or "follow this arrow" but just "do something you find interesting". 3) By akatosh, elder scrolls is AWESOME!

I love how the intro to "Too many cooks" was so long, by the time it came to the episode, they were out of time, and "To be continued" was what you had by the end,. At that rate,. The intro occupied the entire show time FUNNY!

The part when the characters' names followed them around reminded me of the the anime Gintama. At episode 182, they did something similar to that, but instead of the names following the characters around, in the anime, the characters had popularity scores/numbers above their head that followed them wherever they went (it's a parody of a trend in Japan, ranking manga characters in order of popularity every month or so).
