Infact Mr Prashant Bhushan vehemently pleaded to have it stayed before the 2019 elections and I witnessed the disinterest of the Supreme Court to weigh the proposed damage. One of the most insightful discussions I have seen in Indian media, PERIOD! Thank you Mr. Sibal (though I don't agree with all things you say and DID!) PLEASE call some of these people as well, and have a relaxed, no-shouting, no-interrupting discussion on many more important topics. S Y Qureshi seemed to have some important things to contribute, but DID vacillate/be scared of "more reform" in general. He is too idealistic w/ "independent audits" as well: they are only BIG FOUR accounting/audit firms globally (who WUD be the ones the CAG wud recommend anyway!). Easy to see why they wud be/ARE corrupted! He is soo innocent... I agree w/ him that simultaneous elections is a tricky issue to think about. Justice Lokur and Dr. Swamy of course, have been brilliant with all interventions - and I mostly agree with everything they said. Question on the money is laughable Kapil: "The horse has bolted the door!" - how can you get it back?! 🙂EVEN if you could, WHO do you give it BACK to? Monies have to be given back to each of the corporates; what if some of those were "shell" or "failing" companies at THAT time? AND some don't exist now?!!

By delaying the judgement grate harm has been met to our democratic setup .Good that at last judgement came.I think our judges should read their oath in open court at least once in a week .This will at least make our judges courageous and discharge their duties fearlessly and without favour

Kapil Sir, did you ask the SC to order the money to be returned? If no, why not? And if yes, how has the SC responded, if at all? Why didn’t you implead the parties so that the SC could have ordered return of the money after hearing them..
Silly question but why can't the BJPRSS be forced by the ED and Electoral Commission forced to give that money back, or better still confiscate all that money, retrospectively.
Unconstitutional electorate bonds money should go to income tax authority of India to allocate for rightful causes. All people involved in unconstitutional scheme should be prosecuted and convicted immediate effect by Supreme court.
A petition must be there to freeze account of all including all party as there occurs manipulation in electoral process by ruling people another petition to ceize this method of election as it had lead to misuse of power by constitutional elected government to act or behave in unconstitutional way as can be seen in case of current ruling party which brought the unconstitutional electoral bond and instead to not waste the fund obtained through illegal electoral bonds candidate should be selected through IAS examination so that they wil be paid worker and if found guilty should be punishable by court
Supre court has not done any great favour to this country. In fact such long delay in giving a judgement in a black and white issue shows their integrity in cloud. No need for one should be legal wizard to understand this issue but any lay man in this country can understand that it was an unconstitutional act. So allowing a party to indulge in corruption for six years and now pronouncing an order to show that SC is still alive so that public continue to live by believing that they are living in a constitutional democracy.
The order should have asked to freeze the funds from the bank account and distribute the money to the "national disaster response fund" or something like that.

The accounts of the political parties should have been frozen at the same speed at which Demonetisation was implemented. It should be possible for the sc to do so. Thereafter, it is upto the parties to prove how much of the money they have today has not come from Electroal Funds.

As per banking rules,if KYC is not updated the savings bank account balance is transferred to RBI.So let these funds without transparency be transfered to RBI.Period.What is applicable to commonmanshould be applicable to the party's too.6500 Cr plus is good to be transferred to RBI.
As the bonds itself are unconstitutional, the sc should also prohibit parties from using all money raised from these bonds...then instantly it will provide a level playing field for all parties....why the honourable sc didnot do it in the first place after passing the judgement is really worth thinking

Historic ruling given by supreme court keeping aside all political parties as parties of the case is a landmark step to safeguard DEMOCRACY and CONSTITUTION. This is absolutely the most appropriate accurate step to deal such cases
from me the govt has recovered around 3 lac that too after my retirement saying that i was paid more for last several years because of some wrong pay commission fixation.
The supreme court has already declared the transactions through electoral bonds as unconstitutional and hence whatever the funds transferred via this system should be returned back to the concerned companies or individuals preferably before the declaration of Loksabha elections by the concern political parties to avoid the misuse of funds during the forthcoming elections. Similarly the companies or the individuals who are benefitted by this give and take transactions should also return real estates or private properties whatever created to the govt. This is real meaning of SC order and judgement.
How Majority Government can violate Constitution? What oath he took before assuming the prestigious office? Is he not violating that oath?What is the punishment? Why Supreme can't?
A judgement which cannot be implemented is no judgement. This judgement is too late and even now it may not be easy to implement in true spirit. How can one appreciate such a situation.

Because electoral bonds illegal, all parties to be asked to refund to ECI and ECI should distribute fumds to all the parties in proportion to votes received by them in Lok Sabha, states and local body elections
As of November 15, 2023, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has undistributed funds worth over ₹25,000 crore. And so 6500 crore easily refund to where it belongs to. Should also be considered
