This track is from Jeff's ELO Album "Zoom" which was released in 2001. Jeff wrote, produced, and mostly played every single instrument on this album. He had some help from buddies Ringo Starr and George Harrison (yes, from the Beatles) as well as fellow ELO band mate Richard Tandy and other friends filling in here and there. It was not a commercial success at the time, but a lot of us die hard Jeff Lynne fans have a special place in our hearts for it.

ZOOM is the most under rated of all ELO albums (although it is pretty much a Jeff Lynne solo album) and in fact was a massive flop when first released (I believe around the year 2000/01) one of the main reasons Jeff Lynne walked away from the ELO project until he (thankfully) finally resurrected it as Jeff Lynne's ELO in 2015 and has gone on to fill arenas around the globe ever since. Success may be fleeting but Jeff's musical genius is forever. What Jeff Lynne has given to the world of music over several decades is astounding and why he is not SIR Jeff Lynne is beyond me. Another fantastic ELO reaction my friend, please keep them coming, you have so very much yet to discover.

This is from Jeff's comeback album as ELO where he plays pretty much everything. Not really what we used to know as ELO the band. But it's a damn good album, including this song. Never reached the classic status of the '70s ones.

I like also "Just For Love" and "It Really Doesn't Matter" from the same Zoom album from the year 2001, very good songs. Jeef Lynne arranged a tour, but it was canceled due to the death of George Harrison, they were great friends.

I think it's just fucking _great_ to see reactions to something other that the usual four or six videos for a change. Whether it's that one video of MBS that misses some of the ending, the fake _All Over The World_ "flash mob" (I refuse to believe they are dancing to that song; if they are, they are all just rotten dancers and should cease and desist from ever moving their bodies to music again), or videos of _Twilight_ that don't include _Prologue_ or _Can't Get It Out Of My Head_ without the _Eldorado Overture_ .

That album is very guitar driven with a number of heavier tracks eg State of Mind. Its full of great tunes. It only sold about 2 copies. I bought one of them!

My God, your brain must be on fire from all the new music being discovered. And this is mostly from the secondary level of rock music, you've yet to hear from the top of the pop! When you first hear The Beatles, The Beach Boys,The Rolling Stones,The Who, The Kinks & all the others. I would give a million bucks to see your face after you just listened to Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys or Hey Jude ( with video a must ) by The Beatles. @@scottbolander8137 Thanks, but you can't compare this to Harri, because I paid for most of the 50 ELO reactions he did. The man had no choice but to keep listening to the band. LOL But, of course as you know, he loved them all the way through, deep cuts and all. While I agree that order can be important, and a reactor should get a handful of great songs with wide appeal from the band to hook him at the start his journey into that rabbit hole, it's not like Hector's been given any obscure deep cuts. "Need Her Love", is a great ballad, and has very wide appeal among ELO fans. And, "Alright", was the top single from its album, and is also a banger! As for Dicon, I don't know what you're talking about. The 5 ELO songs he listened to are each among the most revered tracks from their catalog: "Telephone Line", "Fire On High", "LIvin' Thing", "All Over The Word", and, "Mr. Blue Sky".

Watching his other reactions, he would not have stopped like that had he been exposed to different songs - such as Tightrope or Turn to Stone. So, I am not advocating listening to only the "hits", but ELO songs that are most likely to be liked by THAT reactor and those who follow him. This guys seems to be picking songs at random. Remember, for people who subscribe to this channel (as opposed to people like me and you who search specifically for ELO reactions) this might be their only exposure to ELO, ever. And if they don't like the first one or two, they may skip the rest.

That kid was a smartass punk anyway, I stopped watching his channel long ago. As for Hector, a commenter said he's getting his ELO song suggestions from his Discord. I'm not on there, so I have no idea if that's true. But I think you're worrying about nothing. Hector, unlike that Dicon punk, vibes enthusiastically with every ELO song he's done, including the ones you don't think he should've reacted to this early. So stop worrying over it.

👍 yes the song is all right. Upbeat and positively happy. But my opinion there are much better songs from ELO. like perhaps Fire On High. Much as you like ELO you would likely thoroughly enjoy Chicago. I may be biased for Chicago, but that's largely in part that they showed up at our high school. They were in town for a concert but we're at our assembly. In fact they were the only reason for the assembly which lasted the last 2 hours of school.. But their presence was a surprise. So since the assembly was scheduled till the end more than half ditched. I've often thought that's the last time they ever did. Life's full of surprises and you must recognize opportunity when it arises. ✌️🤠🐂🏞️
