They only played it Live 4 times. Jeff has omitted songs from 'Balance of Power' in his "Jeff Lynne's ELO" concerts too unfortunatly. At least he represents the 80s ELO w. 'Twilight' and 'Rock N Roll is King'.

Yes, they did a show the night prior in Dortmund, and before that at Wembley Stadium, all 3 shows, as guests for Rod Stewart. They also did the Heartbeat 86 show, all w. the same setlist basicly. Quite a short "tour" for 'Balance of Power'.

Depends what you mean by ‘original lineup’. The original live lineup played their last on June 4, 1972, after which Roy Wood, Bill Hunt and Hugh McDowell departed. The ‘classic’ line-up of Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan, Richard Tandy, Kelly Groucutt, Mik Kaminski, McDowell (returned) and Melvyn Gale played their last show on September 29, 1978. The latter two were dismissed around New Years, 1980, and Kaminski was simultaneously relegated to promo videos and live performances, appearing on record one last time (and very briefly) for 1983’s ‘Secret Messages’ album. But this 1986 Stuttgart show was the last time Lynne performed with stalwarts Bevan and Kaminski. Also the last time he performed with late-era on-stage members Dave Morgan, Louis Clark and Martin Smith. (Groucutt’s last performance was March 5, 1982.) This is ELO’s last performance before Lynne broke up the band for 15 years. Lynne resumed live ELO activities in 2001, but included only Tandy from the old days.
