In this video I fabricate an electric power steering set up into my friend's 240sx drift car / project car. I hope this video will save you time and money on your power steering solutions on whatever you may be building.
Have you ever had leaking power steering, or a seized power steering pump, or maybe even an engine swap that has no power steering compatibility? Well this video may have the solution to your power steering problem.
TIPS:
1. Make sure when you are ordering your power steering pump that it comes with the wiring pig tails. You might be able to find aftermarket ones, but OEM is best.
2. There are also 2 styles of reservoirs to these pumps. The style in this video has the cap included, but there is another style that has an extension to a separate tank (in place of the cap).
3. If you would like to install this pump onto a different chassis, the main difference will be the rack and pinion adapters, since they need to be specific to the chassis..
