100%, getting someone that approaches it with a creative mindset and less about replicating existing Whammy esque users like RATM means alot! I can hear approaches that Nels Cline or Deerhunter might take with a pedal like this.
I've owned, gigged with, and loved this pedal for many years, but this wonderful demo unlocked a few possibilities I had never experimented with previously. Really excellent work, and beautiful playing as well. Cheers!
Andrew, I was looking for reviews and comparisons of POG/Pitch Fork/Whammy type effects but instead your video gave me so much more. I’m inspired and moved by your playing. I’m definitely following your journey.
By far the best pitch fork demo on youtube thank you sir! I'm really tempted to buy it, but i've read on forums that the pedal is very noisy. Do you have any issues with hum/hiss/ etc??Using the power supply that comes with it helps? I already have a noisy vibrato pedal in my board that I love, trying to avoid other major noise sources haha
@@AndrewChengGuitar of course! I was wondering more for some Gojira style embellishments and rhythms. Also to sound big in certain sections when we play live since I’m the only guitarist and I wanted to sound “fuller/bigger” in addition to using chorus and reverb.
Hey man, if I could only get one out of the two, would you recommend this or the micro pog? Love the sounds you got on your pog video and the blending of octaves, but feel like the harmony function on this might edge it?
Hey long shot but what techniques are you using to jam harmony? Is it rootless chords? Or quartal harmony? Basically how can I play like you! Reminds me of pat methany, I am a jazz player looking for new fun things
Hey! It’s a bunch of things, but I find it’s more about the voice leading rather than the voicings themselves, I worked on Mick Goodrick’s voice leading material for quite a while, it helps to get those ‘metheny’ type sounds, have fun! I am using a lot of triads and open strings here
The beginning does NOT sound at all like a pitch shifter twin guitar duet -! -however @--8:50-- and--10:04-- /--10:43-----IT begins to resemble the fx sound ==Jimmy Page used on the final solo of TEN YEARS GONE !--- Zoom had this fx pitch shifter in 2000 !==on their pedal !
@@AndrewChengGuitar i tried to use separate adapter for this pedal, but i heared noise anyway. Reducing the gain on the amp and increasing guitar volume knob did the job, thanks!
