Season 5 and 6 Vampire Elena is just a vibe! No more damsel in distress or having the whole plot revolve around her. She can just be a normal well rounded character like Bonnie and Caroline!

She was GIVEN a narrative and that’s what everyone ran with. Besides you guys *say* Delena is this amazing “passionate”, “alive” & “smouldering” couple but I don’t see it. They have grand declarations of love, they have confessions and dialogue but that’s all I see. DIALOGUE. WORDS. Anyway, you have your own opinion and I gave mine (on a stelena video btww so no need to get your panties in a twist) Thirdly, Stelena’s entire plot is that they *made* each other COME BACK TO LIFE. Which is as, if not more powerful than Delena’s “you made me feel alive.”
@@bryanistryin7455 happiest and confident??? she was only happy and confident because she had LEARNED how to love herself as a vampire?? and does feeling guilty for screwing around at a halloween party with damon and saying "i should be here with stefan" count as happy OR confident? and it's not called "goody two shoes" it's called having empathy and caring ab the peope around you. and 2. she was FAR from boring, idk what tvd you were watching, but she had a fire as a human she never had as a vampire, even though i like vamp!elena. she was independent, trained and knew how to hold down her own as a human. she wasn't co-dependent on stefan like she was on damon and that's why she was her own person and people like human elena more. if the writers hadn't made her an extension of damon in everything post mid s5, she would'e been SO much better.
Btw she left @ season 6 because she only signed a contract for 6 seasons. It broke Pauls heart when she left being one of his best friends. I watched a interview w/Paul talking about it.
Don't understand the hate on her😂 she's literally like every girl. of course she is sweet and innocent in Season 1-3 but after a traumatic experience, she changed it Season 4-6. It's what most girls do. When I get depressed I just cut my hair😂

These are the times I liked her when she was a vampire. It showed her old side before she became a vampire and it’s how she used to act in season 1 and 2. Also I just noticed no humanity Elena would flirt with Stefan quite a bit and try and get under his skin.
@@iamvsimon I would’ve preferred stelena to be endgame as they are the better, healthier, couple, but the show established it wasn’t just the sire bond. Elena’s feelings for Damon were already present as a human. She was in denial (rightfully so as falling for your SO’s brother is major fucked up) and those feelings were enhanced as a vampire. Their time apart while Stefan was compelled by Klaus was a major cause in their downfall, it made her really close to Damon. Though, honesty, I don’t think you stop loving someone just like that. I think she’ll always love him, just not be in love him as corny as that sounds. It’s sad but love can be complicated and tragic like that. Logically, saying any of her behavior during the time her humanity was off meant she still loved Stefan makes no sense. Her emotions were off, her humanity. She didn’t love anyone at that moment. She manipulated everyone in her life in every way she could in order for them to leave her alone. As for the subtle flirting when her humanity was on, I think she couldn’t help herself as she didn’t just magically stop being attracted to Stefan and cherishing what they once had.
i am really fine with elena being just herself! that is great actually.. at least she's not liveless like bonnie who is there like a crystal ball to just solve every problem and help everybody. what i hate about elena is the way the show is desprerately trying to portray her - that she is the most compassionate person ever... she's not, she's just a normal person. that is why i love caroline - the show hated her and then she blossomed into a wonderful person
@@youtuber2646 Hi, let's just agree to disagree. I've seen the series 5-6 times, and it did the opposite to me. Each time I started to rewatch the whole series, I found Elena more and more self-centered. Last time I couldn't take it anymore at the moment she so happily came with the idea that it would be amazing to kill Kol. "Yaaaaay, the whole vampire line will die, isn't it great?" My 25 year old self just couldn't watch how pathetic it was. To me, she may have tried to be compassionate but that would just mean that she did it in the most stupid way and that she is actually not the brightest person. Bonnie was the opposite, she never let anybody know about her plans so nobody would try to save her, which was also annoying that she didn't value herself but that's at least a smarter approach. And not like Elena to always make sure to yell out that it hurts her feelings that a certain plan could be dangerous for her loved ones and they could get hurt. To me, this approach is a shitty way to be compassionate and it just doesn't cut it for me. To me, it's just a lot of talking and a little of doing. But it's ok to have a different opinion and I respect yours.

@@anezkaknezkasnezka I also kind of prefer the Elena who is a tad bit selfish. While I understand the 'Kol problem', I see where she's coming from. Kol attacked Damon and compelled him to kill Jeremy, and he also did a lot of bs in the past, so Elena (who was a vampire and probably had her anger for Kol heightened) wanted Kol dead.

Some of these comments are ridiculous! Ummm Nina performed the part that was written in her script. I didn’t find her selfish @ all. I guess haters will hate. Nina in real life is one of the kindest ppl you could meet. I had a friend meet her. She is into a lot of charities of good causes. Her love for life & animals is so heart touching. Anyways, back to TVD. The haters who cares cause she has tons of Elena lovers.
I am on the last episode of s4 right now, and I can tell you the hate towards Elena is just obsessive and ppl trying to be different. Ppl just think she's annoying. I do think she can be annoying at times, but I really don't think she's so annoying that she deserves all this hate. She's not perfect, but she gets excessively bashed for the minor things she does while the psycho males like Klaus and Damon get forgiven just bc of their sad backstory and bc their actors are hot.
Elena was and looked great until season 4..after I didn’t liked her at all even the makeup ,didn’t liked the evolution of her character ,I feel like she should be always human ..Katherine on other hand ,always best
