I absolutely want the halo glow so badly but my skin is about 1 shade lighter than yours and I am not interested in looking tanner or more orange. I wished they had a shade thats almost white

If something is not to dark but to orange/yellow you could try a blue color corrector☺️ I also have very fair skin and this sabed so much makeup for me😂

You have a beautiful soothing voice, i listen to your videos like asmr, really relaxing. I didn't like the elf dupe for the color range too orange, and to use as highlighter i prefer the hff that have more pearl in it and less color base. I hope in lighter shades.

Thank you for your review. I'm ordering this for my sister who is fair but she also fake tans sometimes. The light/medium looks more pink toned online. I think the lightest shade will work once blended out. I hope they come out with more shades also!

I agree!!! 2 is a lil too dark and a lil orange.but online it looks more cool.I may try 1, but then my friend who is the same shade as me usually got 3 and it's a peachy shade.

I agree - I find the Elf one to be pretty orange/peachy. I was surprised there weren't more shades! I'm cool-toned but when I mix it with my concealer it kind of neutralizes the warm tones and still glows nicely.

Have you tried the new lighter shades?? I'm extremely fair like you but Charlotte Tilbury in shade 2 works well on me.

I have very fair skin and tried it today and I've found no one that doesn't like it but me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it looked so strange on me in the lightest shade.

I used 2. Too dark so maybe a summer color. Idk and i was like no i hate this. The color range is off. With light hand its better.or adding maybe a little bit of concealerunder eyes thats not to bright made tgis better. I wanted this for an everyday face that has this setting powder and mascara only .. But tried 3 at a friend's and it was lighter on me and less orangey. More peachy. I set it lightly with elf halo glow setting powder , either translucent, light or pink. I hear the charlotte tilbury 1 is more cooler but less coverage and wayyy too pricey for me.

I completely agree with the shades. I got shade 1 fair and 2 light and I have a light-medium skin tone and they both work for me so I can imagine them being too dark for fair or even light skin tones. I do find it strange that they didn’t do any cooler tones at all. I have more olive skin but I love a cooler tone highlight or glow sometimes because it makes it pop more on my skin. I hope they add more shades because I actually like it better than the Charlotte Tilbury or any of the other “dupes.” The formula is so smooth and it feels so nourishing, it doesn’t mess with my foundations or other makeup at all and I like the glow better…it’s less “tin man” and more “glazed donut” if you know what I mean.

I have very pale skin to a point where almost no makeup companies make shades of foundation for me. I literally have to use concealer for foundation. I've been avoiding the halo glow specifically because its legitimately 6 shades darker than my natural skin tone and it would 1000% make me look tan which I don't want.

@@autumnsewill5899 Hopefully they listen to all the feedback and add in a few lighter shades. You can definitely use it as a bronzer though in the meantime! I actually went back and got a darker shade after seeing people use it that way and it’s beautiful!

@@autumnsewill5899 have you ever tried korean cushions/foundations? they make really fair shades so maybe you can find one that matches you (i'm pale as a ghost and i have pink cool undertone so it's impossibile for me to find a shade with most companies here); i bought a korean foundation and i'm still waiting for it but i hope it's a good match🤞🏻

Ugh I’m so sad, I bought both shades 1 and 2 for the elf halo and neither worked for me for my skin tone. I have fair neutral skin and it was WAAAAY too warm for me to wear on its own

@@lindseymunette it rlly does smh I LOVE the product too. I still put it under my foundation for glow but I wish they had a better shade range like Charlotte Tilbury!
